in the Parish of Saint George in Grenada hereby
give notice that on the llth day of March, 1975
I formally and absolutely renounced relinguished
and abandoned the use of my said surname of
Charles and then assumed and adopted and
determined thenceforth on all occasions whatso-
ever to use and subscribe the name of George
Constantine Knights instead of the said name of
George Constantine Charles. AND I give further
notice that by a deed poll dated the llth day of
March 1975 duly executed and recorded in the
Deeds and Land Registry of Grenada on the
Thirteenth day of March 1975 I formally and
absolutely renounced and abandoned the said
surname of Charles and declared that I had
assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth
upon all occasions whatsoever to use and sub-
scribe the name of George Constantine Knights
instead of George Constantine Charles and so as
to be at all times thereafter called known and

grown commodities, tne processing of such com-
modities and a guaranteed market, government
has decided that there should be further restric-
tions in the importation of certain commodities.

In exercise therefore of the power conferred on

Regulations, S. R. & O. No. 12 of 1959, the Con-

Vacant Post of Senior Economist

Applications are invited from suitably qualified
persons for appointment to the post of Senior
Economist.
Duties
(1) The Senior Economist who will be respon-
sible to the Manager, Research, will be
required:
(a) To establish a balance of payments
unit within the Research Division and
to prepare balance of payments data
for the participating territories;
(b) To keep under constant scrutiny trade
figures and cost of living indices of the
participating territories and to main-
tain close liaison with the Statistical
and Planning Units of each territory;
(c) To monitor regional and international
monetary developments and maintain
dossiers on the Caricom area and the
main trading blocks and financial
centres;
(d) To undertake such other duties as may
be assigned by the Manager Research/
Managing Director.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an honours degree in
economics, preferably with a major in monetary


economics. A M.Sc or M.A. in Economics is
desirable. Research training and experience are
essential.
Salary
Salary of the post is in the scale EC $9,840 X
3 x 360-$10,920. The point of entry in the scale
will depend on qualifications, training and
experience.

A house allowance at the rate of $3,000 per
annum will be payable during the period that the
Headquarters of the Authority remain in
Barbados.

ACT NO. OF 1975.

BILL

for

AN Act to provide for the incorporation of a body
to be known as the Incorporated Trustees of The
First Church of Christ, Scientist.

WHEREAS there has been established in Grenada a
religious Organisation known as the First Church of
Christ, Scientist (hereinafter called the Organisation)
which is associated with and subject to the control of
THE MOTHER CHURCH OF THE FIRST CHURCH OF
CHRIST, SCIENTIST in the City of Boston, in the State of
Massachusetts, in the United States of America.

AND WHEREAS the organisation is desirous of being
incorporated in Grenada and Lydia Lalbeharrisingh of
Grenville in the Parish of Saint Andrew in Grenada,
Erma Rougier of Crochu in the said Parish of Saint
Andrew, Joyce Lyder of the said Parish of Saint
Andrew, William S. Dunn of the Parish of Saint
George in Grenada and Patricia White of Belmont in
the Parish of Saint George aforesaid have been asked
and are willing to serve as Trustees of the Organisa-
tion and to hold property for any of the uses or
purposes of the Organisation in Grenada.

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Trustees for
the time being should be incorporated and should have
power to hold lands and other property in trust for the
Organisation.

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of Grenada as
follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as
THE FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST, SCIENTIST
INiCORPORATION ACT 1975

2. The said Lydia Lalbeharrisingh, Erma Rougier, Incorpora-
Joyce Lyder, William S. Dunn and Patricia White and Trusts.
their successors in office as Trustees of the Church of
Christ shall be and are hereby created a body corporate
under the name of "The incorporated Trustees of The
First Church of Christ, Scientist" (hereinafter called
"The Trustees") and by that name shall have perpetual
succession and also by that name shall and may sue
and be sued in all Court of Justice in Grenada and shall
have and use a Common Seal which may from time to
time be changed altered or made anew.
3. Trustees shall have full power to acquire for the Trustees
Organisation by purchase, transfer, exchange, devise, Properaut
demise, grant, gift, bequest or otherwise, all lands or
other property of whatsoever nature or kind in per-
petuity or for life or lives- or for any term of years, and
also any money, securities for money, goods or chattels
whatsoever, and to take hold and enjoy the same and
subject also to the performance of any trust upon
which the said lands or other property, money,
securities for money, goods or chattels may have been
acquired.
4. It shall be lawful for the Trustees, subject to the Trustees may

The object of this Bill is to provide for the incorporation of a body to be
known as The Incorporated Trustees of the First Church of Christ. Scientist.

PRIVATE BILL

FOR THE INCORPORATION OF A BODY TO BE KNOWN AS THE INCORPORATED TRUSTEES OF THE GRENADA
UNITED SPIRITUAL BAPTIST CHURCH IN GRENADA.

1. Public Notice is hereby given in accorlan-e with Standing Order 45 (3) (a) (b) of the
Standing Orders of the House of Representatives that it is intended to introduce into the House of
Representatives the abovementioned Bill.
2. Notice of the intended introduction of the Bill is being given in the Grenada Government
Gazette, and copies of the Bill may be purchased from the Government Printer.
3. The object of this Bill among other things is to incorporate a body to be known as the
Incorporated Trustees of the Grenada United Spiritpal Baptist Church in Grenada in order to
enable them to hold property and otherwise to carry out the aims and objec s of the Church.
4. Any person wishing to be heard in opposi'on to the Bll must lolge with the Clerk of the
