O'BRIEN DOLLAND as from Sunday llth day of February, 1973, to perform the functions of
the office of Mnister for Finance, Trade and Industry until the Honourable GEORGE FREDERICK
HOSTEN returns to Grenada or until your authority for so doing is sooner revoked by me acting as
aforesaid.

Under the Taxes Management Ordinance

TOTICE is hereby given that the Magistrate
'I will hold a special session at the Court House,
Saint David's, on Monday the 30th day of April,
1973 at 9.00 o'clock in the f:renoon for the pur-
pose of hearing objections to and appeals from
the assessments made by the Tax Officer under
the Taxes Management Ordinance, Cap. 290.

Any person desirous of making objections to,
or appealing against an assessment, should give
notice in writing to the Magistrate not later than
20th April, 1973 of his intention.

Registration of Business Names


LL firms and individuals carrying on business
r in Grenada under a business name, if not
already registered, are reminded of their obliga-
tion to register under the Registration of Business
Name Ordinance, Cap. 254 of the Revised Laws-
of Grenada.
It is imperative that particulars required to be
furnished under this Ordinance shall be furnished
within fourteen days after the firm or person
commences business or the business, in respect of
which registration is required, as the case may
be.
Failure to comply with this Ordinance may
lead to Summary conviction and the imposition
of a fine, of $24.00 for every day during which
the default continues.
"Business Name" means, the name or style
under which any business is carried on whether
in partnership or otherwise.
Information with respect to registration under
the Ordinance can be obtained from the Chief
Registrar's Office.

(Cap. 153) of the Revised Laws of Grenada that
if the Governor acting in acco dance with the
advice of the Cabinet consider that any land
should be acquired for a pub ic purpose She
may cause a delaration to t at effect to be
made:

ernor acting as aforesaid that the lot of land

should be acquired for a public purpose, to wit,
for the construction of a school.
