NOTICE

In the Matter of the Land Acquisition Ordinancx
(Cap. 153)
(SECOND PUBLICATION)
IT is hereby notified for general information
that in pursuance of the powers vested in Her
under the Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap. 153),
the Governor acting in accordance with the advice
of the Cabinet of the State of Grenada has been
pleased to appoint Mr. Terrence Laldee to be
the Authorised Officer for the purpose of the
acquisition of the land mentioned and described
in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
The remainder of Loretto Estate approximately
83 acres in extent together with the buildings
thereon situate in the parish of St. John and be-
lieved to be owned by Miss Molly Me Intyre,
Mrs. Allan Gentle and Mr. Keith Mc Intyre. The
said land is bounded on the north by a public
road on the south by Dougaldston Estate and on
the remaining sides by peasant lands.
Dated this 18th day of February, 1972.

that a portion of land situate in the parish
of St. John in the State of Grenada is to be
acquired for a public purpose.
DECLARATION OF ACQUISITION OF LAND
(SECOND PUBLICATION)
WHEREAS i' is; provided In effect by section 3
Sthe Land Acquisition Ordinance, (Cap. 153) of
the Revised Laws of Grenada that if the Gover-
nor acting in accordance with the advice of
the Cabinet of the State of Grenada considers that
any land should be acquired for a public purpose
She may cause a declaration to that effect to be
made:
AND WHEREAS it appears to the Governor
acting as aforesaid that the land mentioned and
described in the Schedule hereto is likely to be
acquired for a public purpose, to wit, for a land
settlement scheme.
Now, THEREFORE, it is hereby declared by the
Governor acting in accordance with the advice of
the Cabinet of the State of Grenada that upon the
Second Publication of this declaration in the
Gazette, the land mentioned and described in the
Schedule hereto shall be acquired for the above-
mentioned purpose and shall vest absolutely in
the Crown.
AND IT IS HEREBY further declared and notified
that the land referred to is situate in the parish of
St. John in the State of Grenada.


SCHEDULE

session at the Court House, St. George's on

CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION

PPLICATIONS are invited from suitable
qualified persons for appointment to the post
of Executive Officer in the office of the Central
Water Commission.

SALARY:

The salary offered will be in the scale $4884 x
180-5964 x 126-$6396.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Applicants must possess at least four (4) G.C.E.
O' Level passes including English Language.
Previous experience in office routine is essential.


DUTIES:

The Officer will be responsible for the prepara-
tion of Pay Vouchers in connection with all
projects undertaken by the Central Water Com-
mission and for the preparation of all rate
registers, and the posting of rate payers accounts.
He will also perform such other duties as may be
assigned to him.

Meteorological and Air Traffic Control Cadets


PPLICATIONS are invited from suitably
qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned
posts.

Applicants should not be less than 17 years of
age and not more than 23 and should possess
Passes in the G.C.E. Examination in at least
English, Mathematics and/or Physics.

The ability to speak clearly and concisely,
mental alertness and a genuine interest in Meteoro-
logical and Air Traffic Control work are desirable
qualities.

Successful applicants would be required to
undergo training at the Meteorological Institute
at Barbados and at Air Traffic Control School
in Trinidad.

The posts which are pensionable, carry a salary
in the scale $2544 x 120 3624/3744 x 120 3984 -
4164. On the successful completion of the Air
Traffic Control Course, candidates would be
eligible for appointment as Air Traffic Control
Officers in the scale HT. 1 5424 x 180 5964 x 216-
6396.
