UNDER THE BOUNDARIES SETTLEMENT
ORDINANCE CAP. 37

N pursuance of section 21 (2) of the above
Ordinance, I hereby give notice that a copy
of the .plan and report of Henry W. Ogilvie, a
licensed land surveyor, of a survey made on the
6th day of January, 1970, under the direction of
the Director of Surveys at the request of the
Director of Surveys for the purpose of ascertaining
the boundary lines between lands of L. A. Purcell
and J. C. Date situate at Grenville Street in the
town of Saint George have been lodged at the
Chambers of the Chief Registrar of the West
Indies Associated States Supreme Court at
Grenada.

NOTICE

GRENADA COCOA ASSOCIATION

TH1HEREAS it is provided by section 26 of the
I Cocoa Industry Ordinance that other
general meetings of the Association may be con-
vened by the Board and shall be convened (inter
alia) upon the request in writing of twenty-five
members of the Association appearing on the last
register of members.
And Whereas on the 30th day of January, 1970
such request as aforesaid was made to the Board
by not less than twenty-five such members as
aforesaid.
And Whereas it is provided by section 27 of
the said Ordinance that if the Board shall refuse
to convene a general meeting of the Association
upon request as aforesaid and although not
refusing shall neglect to convene such meeting for
fifteen days after receipt of such request as afore-
said, a general meeting of the Association may be
convened by the members making such request.
And Whereas the Board by letter dated 5th day
of February, 1970 addressed to the undersigned


has refused to convene such meeting and up to
the date of this notice has not convened such
meeting.

Now We the undersigned hereby give Notice
that a general meeting of the Association shall be
held at the C.S.A. Centre, Tanteen, St. George's
at 10 o'clock a.m. on Thursday the second day

An Act to provide for the incorporation of a body to be
known as the Incorporated Trustees of the Seventh
Day Adventist Church in Grenada.

WHEREAS there has been established in Grenada
a religious organisation known as the Seventh Day
Adventist Church (hereinafter called "the Organisa-
tion") which is associated with and subject to the
control of the General Conference Corporation
of Seventh Day Adventists of Tacoma Park,
Washington D. C. in the United States of America and
the Incorporated Trustees of the Seventh Day Adventist
Church in Trinidad and Tobago of 46 Warren Street in
the City of Port-of-Spain in Trinidad:

AND WHEREAS Pastor Philip Newman Hosten at
present residing at Mount Parnassus in the parish of
Saint George in the island of Grenada, has been super-
intending the activities of the Organisation in Grenada:

AND WHEREAS the Organisation is desirous of
being incorporated in Grenada and the said Philip
Newman Hosten, Vigilant Belfon of Samaritan in the
parish of Saint Patrick and island aforesaid, and
Ralph Gordon Ogilvie of Mount Gay in the parish of
Saint George aforesaid have been asked and are willing
to serve as Trustees of and to hold property for any of
the uses or purposes of the Organisation in Grenada:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Trustees
for the time being should be incorporated and should
have power to hold lands and other property in trust
for the Organisation:

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty,
by and with the advice and consent of the Senate
and House of Representatives of Grenada, and by the
authority of the same as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Short title.

SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH INCOR-
PORATION ACT, 1970.

2. The said Philip Newman Hosten, Vigilant Belfon Incorporatioi
and Ralph Gordon Ogilvie, and their successorsof Trustees.
in office as trustees of the Seventh Day Adventist.
Church shall be and are hereby created a body cor-
porate under the name of "The Incorporated Trustees
of the Seventh Day Adventist Church" (hereinafter
called "the Trustees"). and. by that name shall have
perpetual succession and also by that name shall and
may sue and be sued in all Courts of Justice in Grenada
and shall have and use a Common Seal which may
from time to time be changed, altered or made anew.

3. The Trustees shall have full power to acquire for Trustees
the Organisation by purchase, transfer, exchange, "may aqure
devise, demise, grant, gift, bequest or otherwise, all
lands or other property of whatsoever nature or kind
in perpetuity or for life or lives or for any term of years,
and also any money, securities for money, goods, or
chattels whatsoever; and to take, hold and enjoy the
same and subject, also to the performance of any trust
upon which the said lands or other property, money,
securities for money, goods or chattels may have been
acquired.

4. It shall be lawful for the Trustees, subject to the Trustees
performance of any trust as aforesaid, from time to of property
time by deed under their seal, to sell or demise, grant,
convey, transfer. exchange, surrender or otherwise
dispose of any lands or other property vested or which.,
may hereafter be vested in them.

Incorporation

Trustees 5. It shall be lawful for the Trustees subject to the
ai' w performance of any trust as aforesaid, to borrow
mortgages. money, and for the payment of the same, by deed
under their seal, to give and execute mortgages, charges,
pledges or other securities of their real or personal
property or to make any such arrangement as they
may consider convenient, with such covenants, powers
and provisions as they may think proper.
Execution 6. All deeds and other documents requiring the seal
other an of the Trustees shall be sealed with the Common Seal
documents. of the Trustees in the presence of at least two of the
Trustees who shall sign every such deed or other
document to which the said seal is affixed; and such
signing shall be prLna facie evidence that the said seal
was duly and properly affixed and that the same is the
lawful seal of the Trustees.
Address for 7. The Trustees shall at all times have a fixed address
in this island for the service of documents on them and
such address shall be registered with the Registrar of
Companies. All documents to be served on the Trustees
may be served by leaving the same at or by sending the
same by registered post to the address so registered.
Saving. fEi' 8. Nothing in this Act shall affect or be deemed
to affect the rights of Her Majesty, Her Heirs and
Successors, or of any bodies politic or corporate or of
any other persons except such as are mentioned in this
Act and those claiming by, from or under them.

The object of this Bill is to provide for the incorporation of a body to be
known as the Incorporated Trustees of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in
