NOTICE
GRENADA BOYS' SECONDARY SCHOOL

APPLICATIONS are invited for one post of
Graduate Master at the Grenada Boys'
Secondary School.
2. The salary of the post is at the rate of
$4,344 x 180-$5,604 x 240-$6,084.
3. The post, is pensionable, and the holder
will be subject to the local General Orders in
force.
4. Applicants should state their ability to teach
the following subjects:
HISTORY FRENCH GEOGRAPHY
5. Applicants should also give the following
information:
(a) Age;
(b) School at which educated and certificates
obtained;
(c) Present and past employment;
(d) Amount of monthly salary earned in the
post in which applicant was last employed;
(e) Past experience in work of the same type
or in kind similar to that required in the
post advertised.
They will also be required to furnish copies of
testimonials (which will not be returned to the
applicant) certified as true copies by a Justice of
Peace, a Minister of Religion, or by a Head of
a Government Department.
6. Applications must be in the candidates own
handwriting and they will not be considered if
they do not contain the information required.
7. Applications should be addressed to the
Secretary, Public Service Commission, St.
George's, Grenada, to reach him not later than
Friday, February 20, 1970.

GRENADA BOYS' SECONDARY SCHOOL

two non-Graduate masters at the Grenada
Boys' Secondary School.
2. The salary of the post is at the rate ot
$1,788 x 84-$1,872 x 96-$2,160 x 120-
$2,760 x 144-$3,624 X180-$4,164; but the com-
mencing salary will depend on the qualifications
and experience of the applicant and consideration
will be given to the present salary drawn by the
applicant, if employed.

teach (a) Mathematics and Physics; (b) English
and Geography.

In the matter of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
(Cap. 153)

(FIRST PUBLICATION)

T is hereby notified for general information
that, in pursuance of the powers vested in
Her under the Land Acquisition Ordinance
(Cap. 153), the Governor acting in accordance
with the advice of the Cabinet of the State of
Grenada has been pleased to appoint
MR. RAYMOND I. MILLET to be the Authorised
Officer for the purpose of the acquisition of the lot
of land mentioned and described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE

All that lot, piece or parcel of land known by
the name of "MOUNT ZION" containing by
estimation 20 acres more or less beings a portion
of MT. RICH ESTATE situate in the parish of
St. Patrick and believed to be owned by KENT'S
ESTATES LTD., bounded on one side by a river.
on another side by BLAIR ATHOLL ESTATE
believed to be owned by Mr. W. Ross and on the
remaining sides by lands of MT. REUIL
ESTATE.

that certain lands known by the name of
"MOUNT ZION" being a portion of MT.
RICH ESTATE situate in the parish of
St. Patrick containing by estimation
20 acres more or less and believed to be
owned by Kent's Estates Ltd., are likely
to be required for a public purpose.

NOTIFICATION
(FIRST PUBLICATION)
WHEREAS it is provided by section 4 of the
Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap. 153) of the
Revised Laws of Grenada that if it appears to
the Governor acting in accordance with the advice
of the Cabinet that any land is likely to be
required for any purpose which in the opinion of
the Governor is a public purpose, and it is neces-
sary to make a preliminary survey or other inves-
tigation of the land, She will cause a notification
to that effect to be published in the Gazette and
thereupon it shall be lawful for the Authorised
Officer (or his agents, assistants and workmen)
to enter upon the said land and to do all or any
of the things empowered by the said section:


AND WHEREAS it appears to the Governor acting
as aforesaid that the lands mentioned and des-
cribed in the Schedule hereto are likely to be
required for a public purpose, to wit, for the
purpose of establishing a Land Settlement.

Now, THEREFORE, it is hereby notified by the
Governor acting in accordance with the advice
of the Cabinet of the State of Grenada that the
lands mentioned and described in the Schedule
hereto are likely to be required for the above-
mentioned purpose and that it is necessary to
make a preliminary survey and other investiga-
tions of the land, and RAYMOND I. MILLET ESQ.,
Chief Teci bicd Officer (Surveyq), Authorised
Officer appointed for the purpose of the said
acquisition, may enter upon the said lands and do
all or any of the things by the said section per-
mitted.

The said lands comprise by estimation an area
of 20 acres more or less known by the name of
"MOUNT ZION" and being a portion of MT.
RtCH Estate in the parish of St. Patrick more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto:
