diction for the disposal of Magisterial
Appeals in Grenada on Thursday, 18th December,
1969, commencing at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon.
The Court will comprise the Honourable Mr.
Justice Bishop, presiding, and the Honourable
Mr. Justice Glasgow.

VACANT POST OF ASSISTANT TO THE
ATTORNEY-GENERAL AND LEGAL
DRAFTSMAN

APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably
1 qualified persons for appointment to the
post of Assistant to the Attorney-General and
Legal Draftsman, Grenada.
Salary:
Salary will be $8,400 per annum, but this may
be reviewed following a salaries revision.
Qualifications :
Applicant should be a legally qualified
Barrister-at-Law. Preference will be given to
persons with experience in legal drafting.
Appointment:
The appointment is permanent and pensionable,
subject to medical fitness. A probationary period
of two years may be required. The Officer will
be subject to General Orders and Financial Rules
in force from time to time.
Duties :
The duties of the post will be defined by the
Attorney General to whom the successful appli-
cant will be directly responsible for efficient
performance.
Passages for the successful applicant, wife and
children under the age of 20 years up to a limit
of five persons are payable on first appointment.
Baggage allowance up to 5 shipping tons (200
cubit feet) will be paid.
Leave entitlement is 42 days annually, of which
14 days must be taken. Maximum accumulation
of leave-126 days.
Government Quarters are not provided but if
quarters are available they may be rented at 10%
of salary per annum.

Sydnicate, General Certificate of Education

I IHE Entry Forms and Time-Tables for the 1970
S G.C.E. Examinations have arrived; and
Principals of schools, as well as intending Private
candidates, are hereby invited to apply at the
Office of the Local Secretary (located at the
Botanic Gardens) for requirements.
Private Candidates, who are taking the Exam-
inations for the first time, must satisfy the Local
Secretary that they are qualified to sit by produc-
ing evidence that they have passed the qualifying
tests, as determined by the Chief Education
Officer.
Arrangements satisfactory to the Local Secre-
tary must be made beforehand by Private
Candidates taking Practical Tests in Science
Subjects, also Cookery, and Needlework and
Dressmaking.
The Examinations are schedule to take place
during the period Monday, 1st June, to Friday,
26th June, 1970. However, Oral Tests in Modern
Languages and Practical Tests in Cookery will be
conducted before June 1st, 1970.
Entry Forms, duly completed, must reach the
Local Secretary on or before Wednesday, 31st
December, 1969, together with Treasury Receipts
for the Examination Fees.
Examination Fees remain the same as in
former years, i.e. Entrance Fees per candidate:
Local $5, Cambridge Syndicate $7.20; Subject
Fees per subject:A-Level $7.20; AO and O -
Levels $2.40.
No late Entries can be accepted; and NO
REMITTANCES in cash, cheques, paper cur-
rency or Postal Money Orders may be accepted
by the Local Secretary.
Candidates who forward Entry Forms by mail
do so at their own risk.
Each Private Candidate is required to deposit
with the Local Secretary an addressed envelope
showing his or her names in full and Postal
addresses.

VACANT POST OF STUDENT DISPENSER


APPLICANTS are invited for appointment to
the post of Student Dispenser, Government
Dispensary, Ministry of Health.
2. Salary payable is $1,392 in the scale (T-1)
$1,392 x 84-1,560.
3. Qualifications:-three (3 passes at 'O' level,
