the Regional Youth Camp in Dominica from

of the plan and report of Henry W. Ogilvie,

VACANT POST OF STUDENT DISPENSER


APFLICANTS are invited for appointment to
the post of Student Dispenser, Government
Dispensary, Ministry of Health.
2. Salary payable is $1,392 in the scaie (T-1)

3. Qualifications: -three (3 passes at 'O' level,
in the General Certificate of Education, one sub-

IY7 HEREAS it is provided by section 4 of the
NV Land Acquisition Ordinance (Cap. 153) of
the Revised Laws of Grenada that if it appears
to the Governor acting in accordance with the
advice of the Cabinet that any land is likely to be
required for any purpose which in the opinion of
the Governor is a public purpose, and it is neces-
sary to make a preliminary survey or other inves-
tiigtion of the land, She will cause a notification
to that effect to be published in the Gazette and
thereupon it shall be lawful for the Authorised
Officer (or his agents, assistants and workmen) to
enter upon the said land and to do all or any of
the things empowered by the said section:

AND WHEREAS it appears to the Governor acting
as aforesaid that the lands mentioned and des-

cribed in the Schedule hereto are likely to be
required for a public purpose, to wit, for the
purpose of constructing a Community Centre.

the Cabinet of the State of Grenada that the lands
mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto
are likely to be required for the abovementioned
purpose and that it is necessary to make a pre-
liminary survey and other investigations of the
land, and RAYMOND I. MILLET ESQ., Chief Tech-
nical Officer (Surveys) Authorised Officer appoin-
ted for the purpose of the said acquisition may
enter upon the said lands and do all or any of the
things by the said section permitted.

The said lands comprise by estimation I acre
more or less being a portion of a lot of land
believed to be owned by Mrs. Margaret Clement

University of Cambridge, Local Examinations
Sydnicate, General Certificate of Education


THE Entry Forms and Time-Tables for the 1970
G.C.E. Examinations have arrived; and
Principals of schools, as well as intending Private
candidates, are hereby invited to apply at the
Office of the Local Secretary (located at the
Botanic Gardens) for requirements.

Private Candidates, who are taking the Exam-
inations for the first time, must satisfy the Local
Secretary that they are qualified to sit by produc-
ing evidence that they have passed the qualifying
tests, as determined by the Chief Education
Officer.

Arrangements satisfactory to the Local Secre-
tary must be made beforehand by Private
Candidates taking Practical Tests in Science
Subjects, also Cookery, and Needlework and
Dressmaking.

The Examinations are schedule to take place
during the period Monday, 1st June, to Friday,
26th June, 1970. However, Oral Tests in Modern
Languages and Practical Tests in Cookery will be
conducted before June 1st, 1970.


Now, THEREFORE, it is hereby declared by the
Governor acting in accordance with the advice of Entry Forms, duly completed, must reach the
