TN pursuance of section 21 (2) of the above
I Ordinance, I hereby give notice that a copy
of the plan and report of Michael D. Lett
Licensed Land Surveyor, of a survey made on the
4th September, 1969, under the direction of the
Director of Surveys, at the request of MR. PERCY
GREENIDGE for the purpose of establishing the
boundary line between the properties of Mr. Percy

Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship
.Plan Canadian Awards-1970

APPLICATIONS are invited for Commonwealth
Scholarships tenable in Canada from Sep-
tember, 1970.
Most of these awards are for post-graduate
study. A few awards are also available at under-
graduate level if the programme of studies the
applicant wishes to follow is not available in his
country. Scholarships will not be awarded to
candidates who already hold a Ph.D. degree,
nor will they be given for medical or dental
degrees, or for clinical training.
These Scholarships are open to men and
women who will not have reached their thirty-
fifth birthday by 1st October, 1970
Further information may be obtained from
the Chief Education Officer, Ministry of Social
Affairs.
Application forms are available at the Min-
istry of Social Affairs and the completed forms
accompanied by the applicant's plan of study,
the certified record of his secondary school or
university course and the letter of reference from
each of the three persons named in the application
form must reach the Chief Education Officer on
or before 15th November, 1969.
Applications not accompanied by school
records and photostat copies of certificates and
diplomas, or in respect of which letters of refer-
ence are not received will not be considered.

Governments under the Commonwealth Scholar-

Claims: Baltic States, Certain Ceded Territories
and U.S.S.R. State Notes

ATTENTION is drawn to the Foreign Com-
pensation (U.S.S.R.) Order 1969, obtainable
from Her Majesty's Stationery Office (S.I.735),
which provides for the Foreign Compensation
Commission receiving and determining claims
that have arisen since 1 January, 1939, in
relation to-
(a) the Baltic States and certain territories
ceded or transferred since 1939 to the
U.S.S.R., in respect of British-owned pro-
perty or interests in property affected by
nationalisation or expropriation, and in
respect of bank balances, government and
municipal bonds and debts held by or
owing to British nationals at the material
time; and
(b) unredeemed Lena and Tetiuhe State Notes,
irrespective of the nationality of the
holders.
Those whose claims were registered under the
Foreign Compensation (U.S.S.R.) (Registration)
Order 1959 should receive application forms from
the Commission and need take no action unless
the forms fail to reach them within thirty days
of this Notice. Others should write as soon as
possible to the Commission at Alesandra House,
Kingsway, London, W.C. 2, referring to this
Notice and giving brief particulars of their claim.
The LAST DATE for RECEIPT of APPLICA-
TIONS by the Commission is 31st December, 1969.

Importation of Animals into the State

T HE attention of the general public is drawn
to Statutory Rules and Order No. 37 of
1960, Animals (Importation Control) Regula-
tions 1960, made under section 14 of the Animals
(Diseases and Importation) Ordinance, 1953
(No. 9 of 1953).
Under Regulation 10 of S.R. & 0. No. 37 of
1960, no dog or cat shall be imported into Gren-
ada except from those countries specified in the
Second Schedule of these Regulations.
Since Trinidad and Tobago is not a specified
country under this regulation, the importation of
dogs and cats from that country is prohibited.
