IS the close season for turtles and oysters comes
1 to an end, the public is reminded of the need
to observe Chapter 36 of the Laws of Grenada,
sections 4, 6, 7 and 9. Order No. 26 of 1964 pro-
vides for close season for lobsters and this too
must be strictly kept.
Close seasons are necessary to ensure that the
young of the above are not captured before they
are matured enough to reproduce themselves, thus
ensuring us of future continuous supplies.

PRIVATE BILL

FOR AN ACT TO VEST THE PROPERTY OF THE
METHODISTS IN THE STATE OF GRENADA IN
THE METHODIST CHURCH IN THE CARIBBEAN
AND THE AMERICAS TRUST CORPORATION

1. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in accordance
with Standing Order 45 (3) (b) of the Legislative
Council Orders that it is intended to introduce
into the House of Representatives the above-
mentioned Bill.

2. NOTICE of the intended introduction of the
Bill is being given in the Grenada Government
Gazette and copies of the Bill may be purchased
from the Government Printer.

3. The object of this Bill among other things
is to vest the property of the Methodists in the
State of Grenada in the Methodist Church in the
Caribbean and the Americas Trust Corporation a
Trust Corporation which has been incorporated in
the island of Antigua in the West Indies, one of
whose functions is to hold and deal with property
for the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and
the Americas, with whom the Methodist Church
in Grenada is now affiliated.

4. Any person wishing to be heard in opposi-
tion to the Bill must lodge, with the Clerk of the
House of Representatives. a petition showing the
nature of his objections to the Bill and stating
whether his objections extend to the whole or some
part of the preamble or to the clauses of the Bill
and praying that he may be heard by himself or
his Counsel against the Bill.

of the Cabinet of the State of Grenada, has been
pleased to appoint MR. RAYMOND MILLET to be
the Authorised Officer for the purpose of the
acquisition of certain lots of land being portions
of MT. REUIL Estate mentioned and described
in the Schedule hereto.
