stitution Order, 1967, I hereby appoint and constitute you the said DUNSTAN MAURICE
BYRON CROMWELL to act as Chairman of the Public Service Commission and to have and
exercise all the functions and authority appertaining to that office from the 28th day of February,
1969, and until the 3rd day of March, 1969.

Minister of Finance, Trade and Production.

W HEREAS the Honourable ERIC MATTHEW GAIRY, the Premier of Grenada, is absent from
Grenada.

Now, THEREFORE, by virtue of the power and authority in me vested under the provisions of
section 61(1) of the Constitution of Grenada set out in Schedule 2 to the Grenada Constitution Order,
1967, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Premier, I hereby authorise you the said
GEORGE FREDERICK HOSTEN as from Thursday the 27th day of February, 1969, to perform the
functions conferred by the said Constitution on the said ERIC MATTHEW GAIRY (other than
the functions conferred on the said ERIC MATTHEW GAIRY by section 61 of the said Constitution)
until the Honourable ERIC MATTHEW GAIRY returns to Grenada or until your authority for so

session at the Court House, St. George's, on
Friday the llth April, 1969 at 9.00 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purposes of hearing objections
to, and appeals from, the assessments made by
the Tax Officer under the Taxes Management
Ordinance.
