NOTICE
APPLICATIONS are invited for the post of
Secretary to the Central Housing and
Planning Authority.
The duties of the post are as follows: -
(1) To be responsible to the Chairman for all
documents and records connected with the
work of the Authority;
(2) To take minutes at all ordinary and extra-
ordinary meetings of the Authority;
(3) To receive, examine and present to the
Authority at meetings all building and
development plans submitted for approval;
(4) To ensure that the provisions of the Town
and Country Planning Ordinance, the Slum
Clearance and Housing Ordinance and
any schemes in accordance therewith, are
enforced;
(5) To supervise the work of all Planning
Inspectors in connection with the above-
mentioned Ordinances and schemes;
(6) Such other duties as may be assigned to him
from time to time by the Authority.
Applicants should possess:
(a) some experience in drawing of build-
ing plans and the preparation of planning
schemes; and (b) a knowledge of the interpre-
tation of building regulations, the Town and
Country Planning Ordinance, the Slum clear
ance and Housing Ordinance, and the Public
Health Ordinance.
The Salary of the post shall be in grade $3326 x
144-$3624 x 180-$4344. A travelling allowance
is also payable.

to reach him not later than Monday, 30th
September, 1968.

High Court at Grenada, in its Criminal
Jurisdiction, will be held at the Court House in
the town of Saint George on Tuesday the 1st day
of October, 1968, at 9.00 o'clock in the forenoon
when and where all concerned and bound over to
prosecute or to give evidence or summoned as
jurors or witness are required to give their per-
sonal attendance, and all officers who have taken
inquisitions, depositions, examinations, recogni-
