\ Dietitian, General Hospital, Ministry of
Social Affairs, Culture & Community, Develop-
ment, Grenada.
Qualifications: A Diploma in Dietetics re-
cognized by the British Dietetic Association or
equivalent qualification.
Duties: The Dietitian will have direct charge
of those sections of the General Hospital con-
cerned with Dietetary and Catering. She will
also exercise general supervision over dietetary
Subsidiary Hospitals.
In addition to Catering and Therapeutic work
at Hospital she will advise on matters relating to
nutrition, generally.


Salary: $4,164 x $180-$5,424. The point of
entry in the scale will depend upon qualification
and experience.

In the Matter of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
(Cap. 153)

and

In the matter of a Declaration by the Governor
that certain lands situate at Grand Mal in the
parish of St. George in the State of Grenada are
likely to be acquired for a public purpose.

DECLARATION UNDER SECTION 4 OF
THE LAND ACQUISITION ORDINANCE
(Cap. 153)

WHEREAS it is provided by section 4 of the
Land Acquisition Ordinance that if it appears to
the Governor than any land is likely to be
acquired for any purpose which, in the opinion
of the Governor, is a public purpose and it is
necessary to make a preliminary survey or other
investigation of the land, he may cause a notifi-
cation to that effect to be published in the Gazette
and thereupon it shall be lawful for the
authorized officer (and his agents, assistants and
workmen) to do all or any of the things provided
in the said section:
AND WHEREAS it appears to the Governor, acting
in accordance with the advice of the Cabinet of
the State of Grenada, that the lands mentioned
and described in the Schedule hereto are likely
to be acquired for the purpose of a Housing and
garden Settlement and for a recreation ground
which, in the opinion of the Governor acting as
aforesaid is a public purpose and it is necessary
to make a preliminary survey or other investiga-
tion of the said land:
Now, THEREFORE, it is hereby notified by the
Governor acting in accordance with the advice of
Cabinet of the State of Grenada, that the lands
mentioned and described,in the Schedule hereto
are likely to be acquired for the purpose of a
Housing and garden Settlement and recreation
ground which, in the opinion of the Governor
acting as aforesaid is a public purpose and that
it is necessary to make a preliminary survey or
other investigation of the aforesaid lands and to
do all or any of the acts and things provided in
Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
Cap. 153.

SCHEDULE

All that lot piece or portion of land situate
at Grand Mal in the parish of St. George in the
State of Grenada, being part of Grand Mal
Estate belonging to or under the control of Mrs.
Irie Greaves, Mr. George Greaves and Mr. Joseph
(Bubb) Hypolite.

TrHE new Tanteen round-about which was opened
l on Friday 24th May, 1968, is the first round-
about of its kind in Grenada. The attention of
drivers is drawn to the directions in the Highway
Code.
The Police would particularly like to draw the
attention of motorists to the following main regu-
lations.
1. On approaching the round-about drivers
should slow down and select their traffic lanes.
2. Weave carefully with other traffic when
making your turn or merging with traffic travelling
Sin the same direction.
3. Always give way to traffic on your right.
4. Stop for pedestrians at the Pedestrian Cross-
ings.
5. Dip your lights on approaching the round-
about.
Pedestrians are requested to walk on the pave-
ments provided and cross the roads only at the
Pedestrian Crossings.
No Parking or Waiting will be permitted at the
round-about. Traffic must be kept moving at
all times.
Please remember that the Grenada National
Zoo has now been opened and it is expected that
many young children will be visiting the Botanic
Gardens for the next few weeks. So drive with
care and attention. The Police intend to enforce
the traffic regulations strictly and offenders will
be prosecuted.

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY PARADE-QUEEN'S
PARK
BY virtue of the powers vested in me under
section 80 (1) of the Motor Vehicles and
Road Traffic Ordinance, Cap. 194, Page 2556 of
the Revised Laws of Grenada, Vol. II, I hereby
order that on Saturday 8th June, 1968, between
the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 noon a system of one
way traffic will be introduced at Queen's Park
as follows:-

(a) ONE WAY TRAFFIC
Entry
All vehicles shall proceed to Queen's Park by
way of the Green Bridge on he Western Road.
Exit
Exit will be by the Wooden Bridge in River
Road.

1. Cars bearing Green Stickers will park inside
the enclosure of the Queen's Park Pavilion.
2. Other Private Cars will park outside the

ern Road between its junction with the Queen's
Park Road at the Green Bridge and its junction
with the Power Station Road at the Pumping
Station.
(c) NO PARKING
Motor vehicles will not be permitted to park
or wait on River Road between its junction with
the Wooden Bridge and its junction with Melville
Street.

SIncentives Ordinance, 1964 (No. 20 of 1964) that the Governor proposes making the Order set
out hereunder.
Any person who objects to the said Order should give notice in writing to the Secretary to the

Order made by the Governor under the Authority of Section 5 of the Development Incentives Ordinance,
1964 (No. 20 of 1964)

1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the

DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES (WINDWARDS PULP AND PAPER CO. LTD.) ORDER, 1968.

2. Development Company and Enterprise. It is hereby declared that for the purpose of the Ordi-
nance, Messrs. Windwards Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd., of the parish of Saint George in the State of
Grenada is hereby declared to be a development company for the purpose of conducting the following
enterprise:-

The manufacture by the Company of Toilet Paper.

3. Development Premises. The development premises shall be situate at Cherry Hill, St. George's.

4. Construction Day: 31st December, 1967.

5. Production Day: lst March, 1968.

6. Tax Holiday Period: The date of commencement and the date of termination of the tax holiday
period shall be the date of this Order and the 28th February, 1975, respectively.

7. Declared Benefit in Regard to Income Tax. The declared benefit shall be exemption from the
payment of tax under the Income Tax Ordinance to the extent indicated hereunder on such profits or
gains earned from the operation of the development enterprise which fall to be brought into charge to
tax during the tax holiday period:-

Profits brought into charge to tax during the period ending 31st December, 1968 .. 100%
Profits brought into charge to tax during the year ending 31st December, 1969 .. 100%
Profits brought into charge to tax during the year ending 31st December, 1970 .. 75%

Profits brought into charge to tax during the year ending 31st December, 1973 .. 50%
Profits brought into charge to tax during the year ending 31st December, 1974 .. 25%
Profits brought into charge to tax during the period ending 28th February, 1975 25%

8. Declared Benefit in Regard to Customs Duty. The declared benefit in regard to customs duty
shall be relief from 100 per centum of the whole of custom duty leviable on any of the articles enumera-
ted in the Second Schedule to the Ordinance.

Ordinance, Cecil Julian Benoit shall be a development entrepreneur for the purpose of Silk Screen
Printing and that such enterprise is hereby declared to be a development enterprise.

of Saint George.

5. Production Day: 1st January, 1967.
