DEPARTURE OF His HONOUR THE ADMINISTRATOR
HIS Honour the Administrator, Mr. L. A. PINARD, O.B.E., left Grenada on 6th
November, 1963, for a visit to Carriacou.
His Honour is expected to return to Grenada on 18th November, 1963.
APPOINTMENT OF ADMINISTRATOR'S DEPUTY
HIS Honour the Administrator, by virtue of the power and authority in him vested
by Section 5 (1) of the Grenada (Constitution) Order in Council, 1959 (S.I. 1959
No. 2200), has been pleased to appoint Mr. HENRY H. WILLIAMS, Secretary to
Government, to be his Deputy during His Honour's absence from Grenada.
The Instrument appointing Mr. WILLIAMS to act as Administrator's Deputy is
published herewith for general information.

Seal of the Colony. of. Grenada appoint you. the. said HENRY. HARVEY. WILLIAMS- to b.
my Deputy within the said, Colony from or, about the 6th day, of November, One thou-
sand nine hundred and sixty-three and until' further orders, and in that capacity should
the necessity arise for so doing, to exercise, perform and' execute for and on behalf
of the Administrator, of the said Colony during the period,r cited,, but no longer, all
things that belong to the office of Administrator of the said Colony according to the
tenor of such Order in Council already recited or in other Orders in Council adding
to, amending or substituting for the same; and subject to other. Orders in Council
passed by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council to, the Administrator of
the said Colony and during Her Majesty's pleasure:
AND I DO HEREBY DIRECT that you the said HENRY HARVEY WILLIAMS shall
not continue to act as Administrator's Deputy after the Administrator has arrived at
Grenada or some other Officer having a prior right- so to act or to administer the
Government of the said Colony has notified that he is about to assume it:
AND I DO HEREBY REQUIRE and command all and singular Her Majesty's
Officers, Civil, Military, Naval, Air and otherwise, and all others the inhabitants of
the said. Colony and all others whom it may concern to take due notice thereof, and
ton give their- ready- obedience accordingly.
