NOTICE

THE attention of the Public is drawn to the
following amended sections of the Road
Ordinance", Cap. 197 of the Laws of Grenada:-
SECTION 30.
(1) No house, building or other structure of
whatever kind shall be erected within
eighteen feet from the centre of the road :
Provided that the provision of this section shall
not apply to any house, building or
structure within the boundaries of any
town.
(2) If any house, building or other structure of
whatever kind is erected in contravention
of this section, the Road Authority may
give fourteen days' notice in writing to the
owner of the land on which such house or
building or other structure of whatever
kind is erected to remove the same.
(3) If the person to whom such notice is given
fails to comply therewith within the time
specified therein, he shall be liable to a fine
not exceeding the sum of one pound for
every day during which he continues to
make default and the Road Authority may
cause the house or building or other
structure of whatever kind to be removed,
and may recover the expenses incurred in
so doing from the person in default.
SECTION 33.
Any person who without lawful excuse-
(j) plants any tree, or hedge or erects any fence
within 18'0' from the centre of a road shall
be liable on conviction to a fine not exceed-
ing twenty pounds (20) penalty; and in
addition, to the payment of the cost
occasioned by the damage done or by the
removal of the obstruction.

VACANT POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
GRENADA

A PPLICATIONS are invited from suitably
qualified candidates for appointment to the
vacant post of Medical Officer of Health in the
Medical Services, Grenada.
Duties of Post : Special charge of all clinics
conducted or emanating from Health Centres in
relation to a programme of Preventive Medicine
stipulated by the Medical Department, including
Veneral Diseases, School Health Work and Port
Health Work.
Appointment : Pensionable or on contract for
3 years, if preferred, subject to medical fitness.
Qualifications : D.P.H. or equivalent degree
or diploma registerable in the United Kingdom.
Specialised knowledge of V.D. is desirable.
Salary : The post carries a salary of $7,680
Private consultant practice in V.D. is permitted
but private practice is not allo ed.
Allowances : A travelling allowance of $1,500
per annum is payable.
Further particulars can be obtained from the
Secretary to governmentt, Administrator's Office,
Grenada, to whom applications, stating qualifica-
tions, age and experience, accompanied by at least
two copies of testimonials must be submitted to
reach him not later than 30th April, 1963.

TAXES MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE

OTICE is hereby given that special sessions for
the hearing of appeals against the Land and
House Tax Assessment Rolls, 1963, will be held

dates and places mentioned below.
Any person affected by any assessment and
dissatisfied with same must give notice in writing

PRIVATE BILL

for

An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of a
body to be known as the Incorporated Trustees of
the New Testament Church of God in the Colony.

[ 1.
WHEREAS there has been established in the Colony
a religious organisation known as the New
Testament Church of God (hereinafter called "the
Organisation") which is an integral part of the Church
of God-the parent body with its international head-
auarters at 922,930, 1080 Montgomery Avenue in
Cleveland, in the State of Tennessee.

AND WHEREAS the Reverend Edward Dickson
Hasmatali of the town of San Fernando in the island
of Trinidad has been superintending the activities of the
Organisation in this Colony.

AND WHEREAS the Organisation is desirous of being
incorporated in the Colony and Lennard Howard
Aultman of 1080 Montgomery Avenue, Cleveland, in
Tennessee, U.S.A., Aaron Wilson Brummett of 671 N.E.
First Place, Hialeah in Florida, U.S.A., the said Edward
Dickson Hasmatali, Franklyn Arnold of Perdmon-
temps in the parish of St. David and Terence Edward
Caine of St. Paul's in the parish of St. George in this
island have been asked and are willing to serve as
trustees of and to hold property for any of the uses or
purpose of the Organisation in the Colony.

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the trustees for the
time being should be incorporated and should have
power to hold lands and other property in trust for the
Organisation.

Be it therefore enacted by the Legislature of Grenada
as follows: -

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the

NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF GOD
INCORPORATION ORDINANCE, 1963.

2. The said Lennard Howard Aultman, Aaron
Wilson Brummett, Edward Dickson Hasmatali,
Franklyn Arnold and Terence Edward Caine and their
successors in office as trustees of The New Testament
Church of God shall be and are hereby created a body
corporate by the name "The Incorporated Trustees of
the New Testament Church of God" (hereinafter called
"the Trustees") and by that name shall have perpetual
succession and also by the name shall and may sue and
be sued in all Courts of Justice in the Colony and shall
have and use a Common Seal which may from time to
time be changed, altered or made anew.

3. The Trustees shall have full power to acquire for
the Organisation by purchase, transfer, exchange.

in perpetuity or for a life or lives or for any term of
years, and also any money, securities for money, goods
or chattels whatsoever; and to take, hold and enjoy the
same and subject also to the performance of any trust
upon which the said lands or other property, money,
securities for money, goods or chattels may have been
acquired.

4. It shall be lawful for the Trustees, subject to the Trustees

by deed under their seal to sell or demise, grant, convey,
transfer, exchange, surrender or otherwise dispose of
any lands or other property vested or which may here-
after be vested in them.

enactment of Exchange Control legislation in one Territory, has during the past year assumed such
dimensions as to render the circulation in each Territory, based on issues less withdrawals, as shown
above, unrealistic and in fact misleading particularly in the case of Barbados.
