VACANT POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
GRENADA

APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably
qualified candidates for appointment to the
vacant post of Medical Officer of Health in the
Medical services, Grenada.
Duties of Post : Special charge of all clinics
conducted or emanating from Health Centres in
relation to a programme of Preventive Medicine
stipulated by the Medical Department, including
Veneral Diseases, School Health Work and Port
Health Work.
Appointment : Pensionable or on contract for
3 years, if preferred, subject to medical fitness.
Qualifications : D.P.H. or equivalent degree
or diploma registerable in the United Kingdom.
Specialised knowledge of V.D. is desirable.
Salary : The post carries a salary of $7,680.
Private consultant practice in V.D. is permitted
but private practice is not allowed.
Allowances : A travelling allowance of $1,500
per annum is payable.
Further particulars can be obtained from the
Secretary to Government, Administrator's Office,
Grenada, to whom applications, stating qualifica-
tions, age and experience, accompanied by at least
two copies of testimonials must be submitted to
reach him not later than 30th April, 1963.

NOTICE

WRECK OF THE SCHOONER, "ST. ANTHONY D"

T is hereby notified for general information that
under the provisions of the Wrecks Ordinance,
Section 5 (,f Cap. 249 of the Laws of Grenada, an
Enquiry commenced at the Magistrate's Court,
St. George's, on 9th November, 1962, into the
circumstances surrounding the wreck of the
schooner, "St. Anthony I".
The Enq'iiry revealed that the schooner,
"St. Anthony D" sprang a leak and sank off the
fishing grounds off the South Coast of Grenada.

APPEALS AGAINST ASSESSMENT UNDER THE
TAXES MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE

OTICE is hereby given that special sessions for
the hearing of appeals against the Land and
House Tax Assessment Rolls, 0963, will be held
by the Magistrate of the Eastern District on the
dates and places mentioned below.
Any person affected by any assessment and
dissatisfied with same must give notice in writing
to the Magistrate not less than ten days before the
said session, of his intention to object to the same.

the Magistrate, Western District, will hold a
special session at the Mafgistrate's Court, Gouyave
on Friday, 19th April, 1963 at 9.00 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purpose of hearing objections to,
and appeals against the Assessment made by, the
Tax Officer.

T is hereby notified that Bohm & Haas Company,
a corporation organized under the Laws of the
State of Delaware, U.S.A., of 222 West Washington
Square Philadelphia 5, State of Pennsylvania,
U.S.A., have applied for a patent by the following

PRIVATE BILL
for
An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of a
body to be known as the Incorporated Trustees of
the New Testament Church of God in the Colony.

I I.
WHEREAS there has been established in the Colony
a religious organisation known as the New
Testament Church of God (hereinafter called "the
Organisation") which is an integral part of the Church
of God-the parent body with its international head-
quarters at 922,930, 1080 Montgomery Avenue in
Cleveland, in the State of Tennessee.

AND WHEREAS the Reverend Edward Dickson
Hasmatali of the town of San Fernando in the island
,of Trinidad has been superintending the activities of the
Organisation in this Colony.

AND WHEREAS the Organisation is desirous of being
incorporated in the Colony and Lennard Howard
Aultman of 1080 Montgomery Avenue, Cleveland, in
Tennessee, U.S.A., Aaron Wilson Brummett of 671 N.E.
First Place, Hialeah in Florida, U.S.A., the said Edward
Dickson Hasmatali, Franklyn Arnold of Perdmon-
temps in the parish of St. David and Terence Edward
Caine of St. Paul's in the parish of St. George in this
island have been asked and are willing to serve as
trustees of and to hold property for any of the uses or
purpose of the Organisation in the Colony.

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the trustees for the
time being should be incorporated and should have
power to hold lands and other property in trust for the
Organisation.


Be it therefore enacted by the Legislature of Grenada
as follows: -

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the

NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF GOD
INCORPORATION ORDINANCE, 1963.

2. The said Lennard Howard Aultman, Aaron
Wilson Brummett, Edward Dickson Hasmatali,
Franklyn Arnold and Terence Edward Caine and their
successors in office as trustees of The New Testament
Church of God shall be and are hereby created a body
corporate by the name "The Incorporated Trustees of
the New-Testament Church of God" (hereinafter called
"the Trustees") and by that name shall have perpetual
succession and also by the name shall and may sue and
be sued in all Courts of Justice in the Colony and shall
have and use a Common Seal which may from time to
time be changed, altered or made anew.

3. The Trustees shall have full power to acquire for
the Organisation by purchase, transfer, exchange.

or chattels whatsoever; and to take, hold and enjoy the
same and subject also to the performance of any trust
upon which the said lands or other property, money,
securities for money, goods or chattels may have been
acquired.

4. It shall be lawful.for the Trustees, subject to the Trustees

8. Nothing in this Ordinance shall affect or be deemed
to affect the rights of Her Majesty, Her Heirs and
successors or of any bodies politic or corporate or of
any other persons except such as are mentioned in this
Ordinance and those claiming by, from or under them.
