VISIT OF ADMINISTRATOR TO CARRIACOU
HIS Honour the Administrator, accompanied by Mrs. PINAED, will be paying an
official visit to Carriacou and Petit Martinique from the 30th January to the
3rd February, 1963.
During His Honour's absence from Grenada Mr. H. H. WILLIAMS, Secretary
to Government will be Administrator's Deputy.
The Instrument appointing Mr. WILLIAMS to act as Administrator's Deputy is
published herewith for general information.

Grenada, issued under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Q Colony of Grenada at Government House in the Island of
Grenada this 29th day of January, in the year of Our Lord

BY virtue of the power and authority in me vested by section 5 of the Grenada
(Ccnstitution) Order in Council, 1959, I do by this Commission under the Public
Seal of the Colony of Grenada appoint you the said HENRY HARVEY WILLIAMS to be
my Deputy within the said Colony from or about the 30th day of January, One thou-
sand nine hundred and sixty-three and until further orders, and in that capacity should
the necessity arise for so doing, to exercise, perform and execute for and on behalf
of the Administrator of the said Colony during the period recited, but no longer, all
things that belong to the office of Administrator of the said Colony according to the
tenor of such Order in Council already recited or in other Orders in Council adding
to, amending or substituting for the same : and subject to other Orders in Council
passed by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council to the Administrator of
the said Colony and during Her Majesty's pleasure :
AND I DO HEREBY DIRECT that you the said HENRY HARVEY WILLIAMS shall
not continue to act as Administrator's Deputy after the Administrator has arrived at
Grenada or some other Officer having a prior right so to act or to administer the
Government of the said Colony has notified that he is about to assume it:
AND I DO HEREBY REQUIRE and command all and singular Her Majesty's
Officers, Civil, Military, Naval, Air and otherwise, and all others the inhabitants of
the said Colony and all others whom it may concern to take due notice thereof and
to give their ready obedience accordingly.
