LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (ELECTIONS) ORDINANCE, 1951
NOTICE OF PLACE AND TIME OF BYE-ELECTION

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Legislative Council (Elections) Ordinance, 1951,
(No. 10 of 1951) The Administrator hereby gives notice that on the tenth day of
July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, he issued a Writ of Bye-Election
for the seat of the Elected Member for the Electoral District of the Parish of Saint
George (South) and the place and day fixed for the nomination of Candidates is the
Forestry Department, Botanic Gardens, in the parish aforesaid between the hours of
9 o'clock in the forenoon and 12 o'clock noon of the twenty-fourth day of July, One
thousand nine hundred and sixty-one. A Poll will be taken, if necessary, on the
fourteenth day of August, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one.

to appoint Mr. ALBERT L. ROLLINs to be the Returning Officer for the purpose of a
Bye-election for the return of a member for the Electoral District of the parish of
Saint George (South).
