DIDIEZ MALLOL to act as Consul-General of
Dominica at Port-of-Spain, with jurisdiction in the
Federation of the West. Indies, received Her Majes-
ty's signature on the 6th January, 1961.

Grenada, that upon the second publication of this
declaration in the Gazette the land mentioned and
described in the Schedule hereto shall be acquired
for the abovementioned purpose and shall vest
absolutely in the Crown.

AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER DE-
CLARED AND NOTIFIED THAT the land re-
ferred to in the Parish of St. David is by approxi-
mation 2,121 sq. ft.

SCHEDULE

All that portion of land in the Parish of
St. David in the Colony of Grenada occupied by
Mr. John Francis (who is believed to b- p -rt owner)
being in area approximately 2, 121 sq. ft. more or
less and bounded on the North by lands of Mary
Charles, on the East by Laura Public Road, on the
\Vest by Iaillies Bacolet River and on the South
by remaining land of John Francis et al.

Dated this 13th day of February, 1961.

WLTEREAS it is enacted by Section 4 of the
V Lan- Acquisition Ordinance, 1945 (No. 3 of
1945) that if it appeals to the Administrat-r in
Council that any land is likely t0 be required for
any purpose which, in the opinion of the Admin-
istrator in Council is a public purpose, and it is
necessary to make a preliminary survey or other
investing ition of the land, he may cause a notifica-
tion to that effect to be published in the Gazette ;

1945

T is hereby notified for general information that,
in the pursuance of the powers vested in him
under the Land Acquisition Ordinance, 1945 (No. 3
of 1945), the Administrator in Council has been
pleased to appoint Mr. Norris Williams to be the
Authorised Officer for the purpose of the acquisition
of the following lot of land :
All that portion of land in the Parish of St.
David in the Colony of Grenada occupied by
Mr. John Fraicis (who is believed t) be part
