In The Supreme Court Of The Windward
Islands And Leeward Islands (Grenada)

NOTICE is hereby given that a Session of
the Supreme Court of the Windward Islands
and Leeward Islands at Grenada, in its Criminal
Jurisdiction, will be held at the Court House in
the town of St. George on Thursday the 16th day
of February, 1961, at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon
when and where all concerned and bound over to
prosecute or to give evidence or summoned as
jurors or witnesses are required to give their per-
sonal attendance, and all officers who have taken
Inquisitions, Depositions, Examinations, Recog-
nizances or other papers cognizable by the Court
are required to return the same without delay to
this office.

general meeting of the above-named com-
pany, held at the Church Hall, St. George's,
on the 22nd day of December, 1960, at 5.00
o'clock, in the afternoon, the following extra-
ordinary resolution was duly passed, viz :
That it has been proved to the satisfaction of
the Company that the Company cannot by reason
of its liabilities continue its business, and that it
is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly
that the Company be wound up voluntarily under
the provisions of The Companies Ordinance
Chapter 47 of the Revised Laws of Grenada, 1934
Edition.

The index was revised in June, 1957 and is shown hereunder as a new series.

COST OF LIVING INDEX FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1960


The revised co3t-of-livin: index figure for all items for the month of November, 1960, is 109.57
:a rise of 9.57 over the base figure for June, 1957, taken as 100.
The following table shows the cost-of-living index figures at the end of each month up to June,
1957, as compared with the base year August, 1939, taken as 100; as well as bte figures in the new
series with the base figure at June taken as 100:-

Food: There was an increase in the retail prices of beef and pork which resulted in an increase
of 0.1 point above the figure for October, 1960. The group index figure now stands at 108.6.
Clothing : During the period under review there was an increase in the retail price of men's
cloth hats which resulted in an increase of 1.3 points above the figure for October, 1960. The group
index figure is now 122.3.
Fuel and Cleaning : Due to an increase in the retail price of charcoal the index figure under this
group rose by 2.5 points above the figure for October, 1960. The group index figure now stands at 115
Drink and Tobacco : There were no changes in the retail prices of the items in this group during
the period. Like October, 1960 the group index figure remained unchanged at 88.3
Miscellaneous goods: There were no changes in the retail prices of the items in this group.
'The group index figure therefore remained at 115.
