of Caretaker, Grand Etang Rest House, with
salary in the scale $633.60 by $43.20 t .- A':i_.a.
together with free quarters.
2. The successful candidate will ba required to
reside at the quarters provided, and to employ a
Housemaid, towards whose salary provision for a
contribution of $9.00 monthly is made.
3. Duties: T'o be responsible f&r the care and
control of the buildings.
Provide for those members of the public autho-
rised to use the Sanatorium.
To cater for the public, provided that due notice
is given by parties numbering more than
two persons.
To keep stock of whiskey, rum, beer and sweet
drinks to be sold accord ing to tariff.
To carry out the provisions of Rules for Manage-
ment of the Grand Etang Sanatorium (See
Page 48 Vol. III of Laws).
To agree to and conform with any additional
Rules and Regulations that may from time
to time he enforced for the proper manage-
ment of the Sanatorium.
Caretaker not to lease the premises without the
approval of the Director of Public Works.
4. Preference will be given to a married person
whose consort is willing to reside at the quarters.
5. All applications must reach the Secretary Lo
Government by Saturday, 30th April, 1960.

AASTERS of Intercolonial sailing craft and
small motor vessels and owners of packages
which are nut entered on the ship's manifest are
hereby notified that, all onimanifested package's
will he landed from ships and placed in the Baggage
Shed .at the risk of the owners and Masters of the
vessels. Government will not accept any respon-
sibility for the safety of these parcels unless they
are manifested.

proved course of study at the University
College of the West Indies for the fe'gree of
Bachelot of -cience (Economics) nnd will } ,e
for the nortmil duration of the degree courss.'.
2. ThJd 'ochv'l-lip is open to caniiidates awho
are citizens of the Federation of The West
Indies, or B-ii:tish Gniana, or Bi'itish Honrdu-
ras. Camlidaites must be unnmarried and
under the age of 22 on October Ist, 196 ).
3. Catrtida'tes sh uld possess qualifications to
enter the I NSe. (E'-:n.) course at the Uni-
versity Ccllege of The \Wes Indies. The
reqtlirements are :
either at least three Adlvained level passes
at the General Certificate o'f Elu.ita.:t'
or the equivalent, and
one Ordinary level rass at the General
aCrtificate of Education or the equiva-

4. The scholarshiip will cover the whole cost of
the University College course, including
maintenance, books, and pocket money ien

stances of the successful applicant but there
will be no means test. The scholarship may
not normally be hold concurrently with any
other award.
5. Selection will be made in cons tltation with
the education authority of tho cmadidata's
home c u-ntry and such others as the Colonial
l)evelopmenrt Corporation may decide. Selec-
tion will be subject to confirmation by the
University College of the West Indies.


6. Scholarship holders will not be tied to service
w-ith the Colonial Development Corporation
nor does the Corporation guarantee ail offer
of employment after graduation. It is the
Corporation's intention, however, that a
successful grdluate will he offered employment
with the Corporation or an associated develop-
nietit en~ipri'is in the Carihbean; c:in;d.a.tes
will be expected to make a similar declaration
of intention
7. The awar.l will be subject to the holder's
satisfactory behaviour and prop ess during the
period of its tenure and may be withdrawn at
any time by the Corporation if, in the opinion
of the Corporation after consultation with the
Principal of the University College of The
West Indies, the holder lias failed to ithke
satisfactory progress.

in St. John's, bounded as described in the Indenture,
dated on or about 17th April, 1926, made between

LOW FERGUSON, recorded in the Deeds and Land
Registry or Grenada, in Liber 18 page 814 SAVE
AND EXCEPT the premises known as The
'almiste Beach Club.
The interest of the Defendant in the said estate is
believed to be:
1. An undivided quarter in fee simple in possess-
ion subject to an executory devise over in favour df
DONALD FERGUSON and CLAYTON FERGUSON in
the event of the death of the Defendarit without
having had issue who shall have attained the age
of tweny-one years.
2. Another undivided quarter in fee simple in
possession, (formerly the property of MV'NICA
BLACKBURN) subject to an executory devise over
in favour of the said DONALD FERGUSON and
CLAYTON FERGUSON in the event ot the said
MONICA BLACKBURN dying without having had
issue who shall have attained the age of twenty-one
years.
3. A contingent interest in another quarter in
the event of the said DONALD FE-RGUSON dying
without having had issue who shall have attained
the age of twenty-one years.

4. A contingent interest in another quarter in the
event of the said CLAYTON FERGUSON dying
without having had issue who shall have attained
the age of twenty-one years, which above interest
are subject:
(i) As to the defendant's two undivided quarter
shares to a mortgage dated 8th July, 1955, made
between the defendant MONICA BLACKBURN and
CREYMON PARYAG and the Incorporated Trustees
of the Church of England and recorded in the
Deeds and Land Registry of Grenada, in Liber R 9
page 466 upon which $14,400.00 with interest
thereon from 9th April, 1958 at the rate of $7.00
per centum per annum is owing.
(ii) As to the Defendant's original quarter share
to a Mortgage dated 8th September, 1958, made
between the Defendant and CLAYTON FERGUSON
aforesaid and recorded in the Deeds and Land
Registry in Liber V 9 page 706 upon which
$3,360.00 with interest thereon from 9th Septem-
ber, 1955 at the rate of $7.00 per centum per
annum is owing.
(iii) A charge in favour of the Government of
Grenada upon the Defendant's interest and interest
of the said CLAYTON FERGUSON for $48,288.14
under the Agriculture Rehablitation Ordinance.
The above is being sold free from Judgment
against the said Defendant so far as known.
The sale is subject to the usual conditions of sale
a copy of which can be seen at the Registrar's
Office and to the REDUCED RESERVE PRICE
of $28,697.82.
