NOTICE E.
In the Matter of the dispute between the Grenada Manual and Mental Workers'
Union and the Government of Grenada

OTIC I is hereby given that the Terms of Reference of the Tribun'd constituted under the provisions
of the Public Utility and Public Health Services Orninance, 1951, as published in the Govern-
ment Gazette of Friday, January 29, 1960, are hereby cancelled and the following substituted
therefore :-
1. To enquire into and report upon :
(a) a proposal by the Grenada Manual and Mental Workers' Union as follows:-
Wages
The wages of the lowest grade of workers in the Miental Hospital (junior male and
female attendants) be improved by a w;ge increase of 30% for junior male
attendants, and 15% for junior female attendants, and with respect to the other
three grades (senior mrte and female attendants; assistant male and female
attendants: grade A male and female attendants) there should be a wage
increase of 222%, with effect from 19th December, 1958,
and a counter-proposal by Government:
that the Union should await the outcome of proposed representations to the
Federal Government for a general revision of salaries in the Civil Service;
and to make an award.

(b) a proposal by the Grenada Manual and Mental Workers' Union as follows:-

Pensions

The qualifying period of p-nsion for male and female attendants be reduced from
15 to 10 years and that the method of calculation be the same as obtains for
the Civil Service,"
and
a counter-proposal by Government :
that the provisions of S.R. & O. No. 41. of 1956 be not changed;
and to make an award.
2. To stipulate :
(a) the period during which the awzird shall be binding;
(/) the procedure to be followed in the case of a dispute relating to the interpretation
of the terms of the award.
