THE Federal Government has requested the
Canadian Government to provide a limited
number of under-graduate degree courses in Archi-
tecture and Dietetics under the Canadian Aid
Programme. The courses which will extend over
three years (and possibly four years in the case of
Architecture) would be undertaken at a Canadian
University and would commence in September,
1960.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates
for these courses and should be forwarded to the
Administrator's Office not later than Friday, 19th
February, 1960.

training in Physiotherapy.

Overseas School Certificate, Grades 1 and 2 only,
with passes in five subjects which must include
English, Physics or Chemistry or General Science.

Post of Superintendent of Prisons, Grenada

A PPLICATIONS are invited for the post of
Superintendent of Prisons, Grenada.
The salary of thu post is at the rate of $3,456
by $144 to $4,320 per annum. A commencing
salary above the minimum may bh paid depending
upon the experience and qualificaticn: of the suc-
cessful candidate.

THE Public is hereby informed that the usual
dry season restrictions are now in force.
'The use of hoses especially for watering gardens
:and washing ctra is strictly forbidden.
It is hoped that all will co-operate in alleviating
the troubles ahead by ensuring that leaking fittings

Supreme Court of the Windward Is'ands and
Leeward Islands at Grenada, in its Criminal
Jurisdiction, will be held at the Court House in the
town of St. George on Tuesday ths 16th lay of
Fehruaiy, 1960 at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoorn when
and where all concerned and bound over to prose-
cute or to give evidence or summoned as Jurors or
witnesses are required to give their personal atten-
dance, and all officers who have taken Inquisitions,
Depositions, Examinations, Reco2nizances or other

having had issue who shall have attained the age
of twenty-cne years.
2. Another undivided quarter in fee simple in
possession, (formerly the property of MONICA
BLACKBURN) subject to an executory devise over
in favour of the said DONALD FERGUSON and
CLAYTON FERGUSON in the event ot the 'said
MONICA BLACKBURN dying without having had
issue who shall have attained the age of twenty-one
years.
3. A contingent interest in another quarter in
the event of the said DONALD FEPGUSON dying
without having had issue who shall have attained
the age of twenty-one years.
4. A contingent interest in another quarter in the
event of the said CLAYTON FERGUSON dying
without having had issue who shall have attained
the age of twenty-one years, which above interest
are subject *
(i) As to the Pefendan's two undivided quarter
shares to a mortgage dated 8th' July, 1955, made
between the defendantt MONICA BLACKBURN and
CREYMON PARYAG and the Incorporated Trustees
of the Church of England and: recorded in the
Deeds and Land Registry of Grenada, in Liber R 9
page 466 tpon which $14,400.00 with interest
thereon from 9th April, !958 at the rateof $7.00
per centum rer annum is owing.
(ii) As to the Defendant's original quarter share
to a Mortgage sated 8th September, 1958, made
between the Defendant and CLAYTON FERGUSON

under the Agriculture Rehablitation Ordinance.
The above is being sold free from Judgment
against the said Defendant so far as known.
The sale is subject to the usual conditions of sale
a copy of which can be seen at the Registrar's
Office and to the REDUCED RESERVE PRICE
of $31,886.46.

VACANT POST OF SUPERINTENDENT, LANDS
AND SURVEY DEPARTMENT, SAINT LUCIA



PPLICATIONS are invited for filling the post
of Superintendent, Lands and Survey De-
partment, Saint Lucia.
2. The successful candidate will be required to
administer the Lanls & Surrey Department; fulfil
the functions of Commissioner of Crown Lands;
and perform such other duties as may be provided
for by law, or as the Administrator may from
time to time direct.
3. Applicants should posse-s the R.I.C.S.
Diploma, or higher qualifications, and have at
least five years' practice as a qualified Surveyor
with experience of the operation of land office,
cadastral surveys, lay ouc of housing schemes,
demarcation of Crown Lands, general engineering
and topographic sureys, handling of personnel.
4. The salary attached to the post is in the
scale $3,600 x 12C--$4,,60 per annum, plus 20%

5. The success full candidate will be required to
maintain a motor car for the performance of his
duties for which a transport allowance at an
approved rate will be payable.
6. Free passages will be provided for the officer
and his family on first appointment and on long
leave in accordance with General Orders in force
from time to time.
