POLICE NOTICE.
Special Licence to Owner of Private
Motor Cars.


N accordance with Section 11A of the Motor
Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amemdment)
Ordinance, 1954, No. 14 of 1954, I am satisfied
that there is a temporary demand for a larger
number of Hiring Cars or Taxis than are avail-


able, due to the visit of Her Royal Highness the
Princess Royal to Grenada on Monday, 8th
February, 1960, and the expected arrival of a
Tourists ship in St. George's Harbour on the same
day.
2. The owner of private motor car may be
granted a special temporary licence permitting the
said motor car to be used on Monday, 8th
February, 1960, for the conveyance of passengers
for hire or reward if:-
(a) there is in force in relation to the user of
the said private motor car for the pur-
poses of the said section a policy of
insurance in respect of third party risks
which policy complies with the require-
ments of the Motor Vehicles Insurance
(Third Party Risks) Ordinance, 1939,
and
(b) the applicant has paid into the Treasury
the sum of one dollar.
3. Every licenc3 granted for this occasion will
be valid only for Monday, 8th February, 1960.
4. Applicant should produce a motor vehicle
insurance policy in respect of said motor car to the
Inspector of Motor Vehicles on or before the 6th
February, 1960.

BY ORDER dated 11th day of January, 1960,
there will be offered for sale at this Office on
Friday the 12th day, of February, 1960, at noon


ALL THAT lct piece or parcel of land situate at
Marlmount in the parish of Saint David in the
island of Grenada containing Three Thousand Five
Hundred Square feet (3500 sq. ft.) and abutted
and bounded as the same is delineated and des-
cribed in the plan marked X annexed to the
Indenture dated 23rd November, 1952 made
between ARCHIE GERALD WELLS BISHOP of the
One Part and the defendant of the Other Part and
recorded in the Deeds and Land Registiy of
Grenada in Liber S 9 at page 243.
The sale is subject to the usual conditions of
sale and a RESERVE PRICE of $600.00.
