NOTICE.
EALED tenders are invited for purchase of the
following items of machinery now lying in the
Electric Power Station Compound:-
2-Ammonia Compressors.
2-30 H.P. 415 Volt, 3 phase, 50 cycle
motors complete with starters.
2-Condensing coils and manifolds
Miscellaneous-pumps etc.
1-Tank diffuser.
Miscellaneous-shafting, pulleys, bearings, etc.
Room cooling brine coils.
Dipping tank.
Inspection may be arranged with the Chief
Engineer.
The tenders may be addressed to the Chairman,
Tenders Board, and should reach him not later
than 31st January, 1960.
Government does not bind itself to accept the
highest or any offer.

W ITH respect to the Income Tax Return Forms
for 1960, which have been sent out, the
deductions for resident, wife and child should
read $600.00, $500.00 and $250.00, respectively.

Open Licence for Imports from the
Scheduled Territories.

IN exercise of the powers conferred on him by
Regulation 2 (11) of the Supplies Control
Regulations S.R. & O. No. 12 of 1959, the Con-
troller of Supplies hereby gives notice that the
following items have been added to the Schedule of
Exceptions contained in paragraph 2 of the Open
Licence for Imports for the Scheduled Territories,
published in the Government Gazette of 18th July,
1959.
Explosives
Fireworks.
2. The effect of this notice is to bring the
importation of explosives and fireworks under
import control. These items will therefore need a
licence to import before the order is placed.
3. This notice comes into effect from 17th
December, 1959.

NOTICE.

Commemorative Stamps.

AN overprint of the 3 cents Antigua Stamps in
red with the words Commemoration Antigua
Constitution", and the 12 cents Antigua Stamps
overprinted in black with the said words shall be
on sale on the 1st January, 1960, to commemorate
the new Constitution of Antigua which comes into
force on the 1st day of January, 1960.
These stamps will be on sale for a period of one
year from 1st January, 1960.
Any person who is in possession of the stamps
of the values of 3 cents and 12 cents authorised for
use in the Colony by the Stamps (Antigua) Order,
1953 without the above variations may at any time
between the 1st day of January, 1960, and the 1st
day of April, 1960, apply to the General Post Office
in the Colony to have such stamps exchanged for
and replaced by a valid stamp or valid stamps of
equal value authorised for use in the Colony.

In the Supreme Court of the Windward
Islands and Leeward Islands (Grenada).



NOTICE is hereby given that a Session of the
Supreme Court of the Windward Islands and
Leeward Islands at Grenada, in its Criminal
Jurisdiction, will be held at the Court House in the
town of St. George on Tuesday the 16th Jay of
February, 1960 at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon when
and where all concerned and bound over to prose-
cute or to give evidence or summoned as Jurors or
witnesses are required to give their personal atten-
dance, and all officers who have taken Inquisitions,
Depositions, Examinations, Recognizances or other
papers cognizable by the Court are required to
return the same without delay to this office.
