POLICE NOTICE.
ARRIVAL OF THE GOVERNOR GENERAL.

BY virtue of the powers vested in me under Section 79 of the Motor Vehicles and
Road Traffic Ordinance, 1938, I hereby order that:-
1. That section of the Carenage between Hughes Street and the Fire Station
will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. until after the ceremony.
Traffic will be routed via Tyrrel Street.
2. That section of the Carenage between Tyrrel Street and the Fire Station will
be closed to vehicular traffic (except Official cars) from 9 a.m. until after
the ceremony. Traffic from Tanteen will be routed along Tyrrel Street.
3. Traffic approaching from Springs will be stopped at the junction of Lowthers
Lane at 10.05 a.m. until after the Official cars have proceeded up
Lowthers Lane.
4. Traffic will not be allowed to enter Lowthers Lane at its top entrance from
10 a.m. until after the Official cars have entered Government House.
5. Officials who have been invited to meet the Governor General should approach
the Fire Station from the direction of Burns Point and enter the Fire
Station yard through the exit. These cars should have stickers affixed
to the windscreen and will be parked in the Fire Station yard.
6. Guests who have been invited to witness the ceremony should approach the
Fire Station from the direction of the Cinema. Their cars will be parked
on the Carenage between the Cinema and the Fire Station.
