GOVERNMENT NOTICE.
No. 284.
rFIHE following Committees have been set up with terms of reference as indicated hereunder:
A.-WAREHOUSING COMMITTEE.
The Hon'ble Financial Secretary,
The Harbour Master,
The Competent Authority,
A representative of the Grenada Chamber of Commerce
(i) to exercise general supervision over the discharge and despatch, whether to ware-
house or direct to trades, of emergency supplies when landed in St. George's,
(ii) to secure warehouse space for goods which cannot conveniently be distributed
immediately into trade.
B.-SEA TRANSPORT COMMITTEE.
A representative of Messrs. Geo. F. Huggins & Co., (Grenada), Ltd.
A representative of Messrs. Hankeys. Ltd.,
A representative of Messrs. Jonas Browne & Hubbard, Ltd.,
The President or other nominee of the Grenada Chamber of Commerce,
The Hon'ble Financial Secretary,
The Harbour Master, (Executive Officer of the Committee).
(i) to expedite the discharge of all cargoes arriving at St. George's and where these
cargoes exceed the unloading facilities, to ensure discharge in the correct order of
priority ;
(ii) to allocate the unloading facilities to the firms that require them
(iii) to be a central pool of information on arrivals and departures o[ shipping;
(iv) to engage space on schooners as required by the Relief Committee from time to
time for sending Relief Stores by sea.
