NOTICE TO FISHERMEN

ISHERMEN'S Co-operative and Credit Unions
F' have now been formed and registered for
Grenville, Sauteurs, Victoria, Gouyave, Grand Roy,
and St. George's, and it is proposed that the sale
of fishing gear at minimum prices should be con-
ducted through these Unions. Fishermen desiring
to obtain gear should get in touch with one or
other of these Unions, which have been requested
to supply to Government a list of the articles
together with estimates of the quantities which
they will require, so that orders for this equipment
may be placed at an early date.

a Carriacou Hurricane Relief Fund has been
started in Grenada and the public is requested to
subscribe generously to the relief of those persons
who have been deprived of homes and the necessi-
ties of living.

Unless the owner or any other person having an
interest in the properties sold pays into the
Treasury :-
(1) the amount due for taxes, fines, costs and
expenses, and
(2) ten per cent of the purchase price as com-
pensation to the purchaser, (provided
that in special cases the Governor may
reduce the amount so payable),
before the expiration of three months from the date
of sale, the properties sold shall at the end of the
stipulated period vest absolutely in the respective
purchasers.

Rifle Range, Queen's Park, St. George's.-

IT is hereby notified for general information that
ihe Rifle Range at Queen's Park, St. George's,.
will be used for rifle firing practice on Thursday,.
21st October, 1954, and continuing daily from 7.00,
a.m. to 12.30 p.m., until further notice.
2. When firing is in progress, andifor one hour
beforehand, Red Flgs will be flown on either side-
of the Butts on the D'ARBEAU HILL. This signal
indicates that it is DANGEROUS to approach or
remain in the vicinity cf the Rifle Range, and all
persons frequenting the area are HEREBY
WARNED to keep clear of it, and owners of stock
to remove their animals from it.

Mistress, Girl's High School, St. Vincent, B.W.I.

is in the scale $768 x $60-$1,128 x $72--$1,704,

teach Shorthand, Typing and Book-keeping, to
pupils of the Grammar School and the Girls' High
School up to the standard of the Cambridge School
