No. 250.
IS Excellency WALTER FLEMING COUTTS, Esq., C.M.G., M.B.E., Acting Governor
and Commander-in-Chief of the Windward Islands arrived in the Colony this
morning and is expected to return to St. Vincent this afternoon.

NOTICE
St. David's District Board
OTICE is hereby given that I will attend at the
SMagistrate's Court House on Friday the 10th
day of September, 1954, between the hours of 9.00
a.m. and 12.00 noon for the purpose of receiving
nominations for the return of five (5) persons to
serve as members on the St. David's District Board
for the triennial period terminating September,
1957.


In the event of there being more than five (5)
candidates nominated, a general election will be
held on Monday the 27th day of September, 1954,
when a poll will be opened at the Court House St.
David's between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00
p.m., and voting papers will be issued to every
registered voter applying for same.
