Use of Vehicles licensed as Goods Vehicles
tor the conveyance of Passengers.

ti) In the interest of public safety the attention
0f the owners of Goods Vehicles is directed to S.d.
(3) oa Section 14 of the Motor Vehicles and Road
Traffic Ordinance 1938 which provides fcr the grant
of permission to enable a vehicle licensed as a Goods
Vehicle to be used as a private motor car for the
conveyance of passengers without hire or reward.
(2) Owners of Goods Vehicles intending to use
them for the purpose of conveying passengers
tfiuring Chtminiial are ndviPId to apply to the Sergeant
in charge At the T'raffic Branch, Police Headquart-
ers, St. George's, for the necessary permission to
do so.
(3) Owners and Drivers of Goods Vehicles are
hereby warned that the carriage opf passengers in
Goods Vehicles contrary to the provisions of the
.Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Ordinance will
render them liable to prosecution.

2. The post in thesalary scale of $2,400 x $120-
$3,120. and a temporary cost-of-living allowance
of $480 per annum is also payable. In addition a
transport allowance of $912 per annum is payable

or its equivalent, or a University degree in Agricul-
ture, plus previous experience in a Department of
Agrit~lture.
5.. The point in the salary grade at which the
successful applicant will be appointed will depend
on qualificati6ris and experiience.
6. The duties of the post will entail the planning
and supervision of all projects of an agricultural
nature in Carriacou, the supervision of agricultural
and forestry staff, and such other duties as may be
determined from time to time.
