STAFFING ARRANGEMENTS: SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance who has
duly consulted the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby gives
notice pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (7) of Article 42A of the Constitution of The West Indies.
(1) that the offices set out in Table I hereunder shall (together with the office of Deputy Clerk)
constitute the staff of the Clerk of the Senate, the number of offices in relation to each office
being indicated opposite thereto;
(2) that all of the offices so set out, with the exception of the office of Editor of Hansard, shall be
subordinate offices;
(3) that the offices set out in Table II hereunder shall :(together with the office of Deputy Clerk)
constitute the staff of the Clerk of the House of Representatives, the number of offices in relation
to each office being indicated opposite thereto; and
(4) that all of the offices so set out, with the exception of the office of Editor of Hansard, shall be
subordinate offices.
