HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL has, after consultation with the temporary Public Service Commis-
sion, appointed CHARLES SPRINGER as an Assistant Secretary, on secondment from the service of the Govern-
ment of Barbados, with effect from the 1st August, 1958.

(Delegation) Regulations, 1958, has, after consultation with the temporary Public Service Commission,

ment of Barbados, with effect from the 1st August, 1958.

PROMOTION IN THE IFELI AL PUBLIC SERVICE

THE FEDERAL SECRETARY acting under the powers conferred on him by the Appointments in the Public Service
(Delegation) Regulations, 1958, and after consultation with the temporary Public Service Commission,
has been pleased to promote VICTOR COOKE, Clerical Officer, Grade I, to Executive Officer with effect from the
12th May, 1958.

2. The name, and particulars relating to Victor Cooke in Gazette Notice No. 66 of the 16th May, 1958,
should be deleted.


VACATION LEAVE

MR. O. E. HENRY, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Agriculture, has been grated
thirty (30) days vacation leave with effect from the 5th August, 1958.

During Mr. Henry's absence the Ministry will be in the administrative charge of MR. A. MACKENZIE, Agri-
cultural Adviser.

CHANGE OF TITLE OF OFFICE
IT is hereby notified that pursuant to regulation 70 of the Itterpretatlon Regulation 1918, His Excellency the
Governor-General has declared that the title of the office of Trade Commissioner in Canada for the British iWest
Indies, British Guiana and British Honduras has been changed to "Commissioner in Canada for The West Indies,
British Guiana and British Honduras" with effect from 3rd January, 1958.
