His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL has, after consultation with the temporary Public Service Commis-
sion, appointed the person named in the first column of the following list to the office specified opposite to that
person in the second column with effect from the date specified in the third column.

THE FEDERAL SUPREME COURT REGULATIONS, 1958
APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY REGISTRAR OF THE FEDERAL SUPREME COURT
PURSUANT to Regulation 4(2) of the Federal Supreme Court Regulations, 1958, and with the consent of
His Excellency the Governor of the Windward Islands, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to appoint the holder of the following office in the Supreme Court of the Windward Islands and Leeward
Islands to be a Deputy Registrar of the Federal Supreme Court :-
The Registrar of the Dominica Circuit.
CHANGE OF TITLE OF OFFICE
IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has declared that the title of the office of Senior
Assistant Secretary in the Treasury Division of the Finance Department, shall be changed to Federal Accountant
General with effect from 7th March, 1958.
IT is hereby notified that the Federal Treasury has been established on the first floor of the Headquarters of the
Federal Government at Whitehall and will be open for business from Thursday, 1st May, 1958, in accordance with
the following arrangements :-
(i) Office hours will be from 8.30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on week-days and from 8.30 a.m.-
11 a.m. on Saturdays.
(ii) The payment of vouchers and the receiving of cash on behalf of the Federal Government which
was formerly done by the Accountant General at the Trinidad Treasury will be discontinued with
effect from the 1st May and all persons to whom the Federal Government is indebted for stores
and supplies should render these accounts to the Federal Accountant General, Whitehall,
29, Maraval Road, Port-of-Spain, with effect from this date.
(iii) All cheques, drafts, &c., representing payments to the Government of The West Indies should be
made payable:to the Federal Accountant General.

APPOINTMENTS UNDER ARTICLE 69 OF THE CONSTITUTION
IT is hereby notified that pursuant to the provisions of Article 69 of the Constitution His Excellency the
Governor-General has nominated for the purposes of the said article the persons who for the time being hold
the offices in the public service of the Federation mentioned below as persons who shall have the right to attend
any meeting of the Council of State and to take part in the discussions at that meeting :-
