The Police (Amendment) Regulations, 1960,
dated March 29, 1960, made by the
Administrator under section 67 of the
Police Act, 1951, (No. 1,/1951) as amended.
1. Short Title. These Regulations may be cited
(S.R. & 0. 1959, No. 15) as amended, hereinafter called
the Principal Regulations.
2. Amendment. Regulation 16 of the Principal
Regulations is hereby amended by inserting the words
" Subordinate police officer in charge of Coolidge Police
Station; immediately after the words Subordinate
police officer in charge of the Fire Brigade, St. John's; "
appearing in the item A Division: ".

Order dated the 30th March, 1960, made by
the Administrator in Council under sec-
tion 3 of the External Trade Ordinance,
1958, (No. 16 of 1958).
1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the
" FroRD1t1lon. The Administrator in Council
doth hereby prohibit absolutely the importation into the
Colony of all classes of goods from or originating in any
part of the Union of South Africa.
3. Saving. Nothing in this Order shall directly
or indirectly affect the importation into the Colony of
any goods which were in course of transit to the Colony
before the coming into operation of this Order.
Made by the Administrator in Council this 30th day
of March, 1960.

An Ordinance to amend further the Rent Restric-
tion Ordinance, 1947.
Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent
- Majesty, by aid with the advice and consent of
the Legislative Council of Antigua, and by the
authority of the same as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Rent Short title.

shall be read as one with the Rent Restriction
Ordinance, 1947, as amended, hereinafter called 131947.

OBJECTS AND REASONS
It has been decided that for the purposes of the Rent
Restriction Ordinance, 1947, the definition of the expression
"building land should be enlarged so as. to include not only
land for the purpose of erecting thereon the buildings
mentionedin the definition, and land on which tenants have
lawfully erected such buildings, but also land upon which a
prospective tenant intends to place a house which has already
been built. It is considered that the provision which this Bill
-seeks to make will benefit the latter type of tenants by bring-
ing them within the provisions of the rent restriction legisla-
