STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS.
1964, No. 5.


The Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Regulations,
1964. dated February 13, 1964, made by the Adminis-
trator in Council under section 76 of the Vehicles and
Road Traffic Ordinance, 1950 (No. 4 of 1951).


1. Short Title. These Regulations may be cited as
the Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) regulations, 1I 64,
and shall be read as one with the Vehicles and Road Traffic
Regulations, 1952 (S.R. & 0 1952, No. 10) as amended, here-
inafter called the Principal Rlegulations.
2. Amendment of the Third Schedule to the
Principal Regulations. The Thid Sci dule to the Prin-
cipal Regulations is hereby amended by deleting hlie whole of
paragraph 1 appearing after the words In the Town of Ply-
mouth"- and substituting therefore the following:-
"1. Public Market Station. That area or
parcel of land to the rear of the Public Market."
3. Amendment of the Fifth Schedule to the
Principal Regulations. The Fifth Sdhedule to the Prin-
cipal Regulations is hereby amended as follows:-
(i) For the words Petroleum Warehouse Station
turning right into the lane south in paragraph
2 thereof shall be substituted the words" Public
Market Station turning right into the lane north";
(ii) For the words Return via the same route enter-
ing the parking station in accordance with part
1 (b) of the Third Schedule in paragraph 2
thereof shall be substituted the following
words:-
On return in Plymouth motor omnibucfs
shall Iurn left from Georue Sircet into Pailia-
ment Street, right into Strand Street and left
into the alley on Ihe ouwih eide the Public
Market.";









(iii) For paragraph 3 thereof shall be substituted the
following:-
3. Southern Route. This route shall
start from the Public Market Station, turning
right into the lane north of the Public Market,
left into Strand Street, right into George Street,
right into Parliament Street and on to the
various southern districts.
On return in Plymouth motor omnibuses
shall enter Strand Street and turn left into the
alley south of the Public Market."

THE VEHICLES (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) REGULATIONS, 1964,
DATED FEBRUARY 13, 1964, MADE BY THE ADMINISTRiATOR
IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTION 76 OF THE VEHICLES AND
ROAD TRAFFIC Ordinance, 1950 (No. 4 of 1951).
1. Short Title. These Regulations may be cited as
the Vehicles (One-Way Traffic) Regulations, 1964.
2. Interpretation. In these Regulations the words
"drive ", road and vehicle shall have the same meanings
as those respectively assigned to them by section 2 of the Ve-
hicles and Road Traffic Ordinance, 1950.
8. One-Way Traffic on certain Roads in
Plymouth. No person shall drive or ride any vehicle along
any road or any part of any road in the town of Plymouth
specified in the first column of the schedule hereto in a direc-
tion otherwise than that stated in the second column thereof.
4. Commencement. These Regulations shall come
into operation on the 24th day of February, 1964.

THE CURRENCY NOTES AMENDMENTT) REGULATIONS, 1964,
DATED FEBRUARY 20, 1964, MADE BY THE ADMINISTRATOR
IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTION 13 OF THE CURRENCY ORDI-
NANCE, 1959 (No. 24 OF 1959) AFTER CONSULTATION WITH
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY, BRITISH
CARIBBEAN TERRITORIES (EASTERN GROUP) A;D WITH
THE APPROVAL OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE.


1. Short Title. These Regulations may be oited as the
Currency Notes (Amendment) Regulations, 1964, and shall be
read as one with the Currency Notes Regulations, 1961
(S. R.& O. 1961, No. 12) hereinafter called the Principal
Regulations.
2. Amendment of the. Principal Regulations.
The Principal Regulations are hereby amended as follbws:-
(i) For Regulation 14 the following shall be substi-
tuted:-
14. Register of Currency Note Issues. In the
Register of Currency Note Issues there shall be
recorded, the serial numbers in consecutive order of
currency notes, of denominations in excess of twenty
dollars, issued by the Board together with the date of
issue and the date of destruction by the Board."
(ii) For Regulation 15 the following shall be substi-
tuted:-
15. Register of Currency Notes Destroyed. In
the Register of Currency Notes Destroyed there shall
be recorded:-
(a) in the case of notes of denominations in excess of
twenty dollars, the serial numbers in consecutive order
of each prefix number of each series in each denomina-
tion of notes destroyed together with the date of
destruction;









(b) in every other case, the total number and value of notes
destroyed in respect of each denomination, together
with the date of destruction."
(iii) For sub-regulations (1) and (2) of Regulation 19
the following shall be substituted:-
(1) After cancellation, currency notes of denominations
in excess of twenty dollars, shall be arranged according to the
serial numbers, in consecutive order of each prefix number of
each series in each denomination and, as far as possible, in bundles
of one hundred notes and currency notes of all other denomina-
tions shall be arranged according to denominations and, as far as
possible, in bundles of one hundred notes.
(2) After the currency notes have been arranged and bun-
dled as in sub-paragraph (1) of this Regulation they shall be
recorded in the Register of Currency Notes Destroyed and handed
to at least two Currency Officers, none of whom shall have acted
previously in respect of the same notes ur.der the foregoing
provisions of this regulation; and after the currency notes have
been checked by the Currency Officers they shall check the
entries in the Register of Currency Notes Destroyed and the
currency notes shall, as far as possible, be immediately destroyed
in their presence by fire in an incinerator provided for the pur-
pose, and the Currency Officers shall immediately after the
destruction sign a Certificate of Destruction, in a form to be
approved by the Board, in the Register of Currency Notes
Destroyed."
3. Commencement. These Regulations shall come
into operation on the 1st day of March, 1964.
