AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES.


In persuance of the requirements of section
3 (2) (a) of the Aid to Pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1950 (No. 9 of 1950) It is hereby
notified for general information that the Admin-
istrator in council proposes to make the undermen-
tioned Order under section 3(1) of the said Ordi-
nance. Any person who objects to the making of
such Order shall give notice in writing of his
objection and of the grounds on which he relies in
support thereof to the Clerk to the Executive
Council on or before the day of 1964.

The Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Biscuits) Order, 1964, made by the Admin-
istrator under section 3 (1) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1950 (No.9
of 1960).

1. Short Title. This Order masy be cited
as the Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Biscuits) Order, 1964.

2. Declaration of Biscuits to be a
Pioneer Industry. The manufacture of
Biscuits is hereby declared to be a pioneer industry
for the purpose of the Aid to pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1950, and the following products
Soda biscuits
Sweet biscuits
Crackers
are hereby declared to be pioneer products for the
said purposes.
Made by the Administrator acting in accord-
ance with the advice of the Executive Council this

TURNER, formerly honorary Consul
for the Netherlands, called at Gov-
ernment House and received form
His Honour the Administrator Her
Majesty's Warrant under the Royal
Sign-Manual authorising him to wear
the Insigna of Chevalier of the Order
of Orange-Nassau. This decoration
was awarded to Mr. TURNER by Her
Majesty The Queen of The Nether-
lands in recognition of his past
services.

TON SHEPPARD has been awarded a
trades union training course in Canada
commencing on 1st June, 1964, under
a labour educational programme

SHEPPARD will leave Antigua for
Ottawa by Trans Canada Airlines on
28th May.

BOAT OWNERS.


Your attention is drawn to Section
18 of Ordinance No. 3 of 1909 as
follows:-
*'Every drogher, lighter, flat,
boat or craft licensed as before
mentioned not being a registered
vessel within the meaning of the
Harbour and Roadsteads Act,
1894, shall have the number of


such licence, and the name of
the owner, legibly painted on
the stern in letters and figures
not less than one and a half
inches in length, and the said
stern shall be bona fidr a fixed
part of the drogher, lighter, flat,
boat or craft, and not a shifting
board movable at pleasure; and
if any person shall be employed
or shall ply in any such flat, boat
or craft as a boatman without
having the number of the licence
so thereon painted as aforesaid
he shall forfeit and pay a penalty
not exceeding ten shillings."

ENACTED by the Legislature of the Colony
of the Virgin Islands.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Short Title
Copyright Act (Repeal) Ordinance, 1963.
2. The Copyright Act, (Cap. .141) and that Repeal
portion of the kAdaptation of Laws Regulations, 1956/22
1956 which adapts the Copyright Aot for use in cap. 141
the Colony are hereby repealed.
