AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES.


In pursuance of the requirements of section
3 (2) (a) of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordi-
nance, 1950 (No. 9 of 1950) it is hereby notified
for general information that the Administrator in
Council proposes to make the undermentioned
Order under section 3 (1) of the said Ordinance.
Any person who objects to the making of such
Order shall give notice in writing of his objection
and of the grounds on which he relies in support
thereof to the Clerk to the Executive Council on
or before the 16th day of May, 1964.

The Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Needles) Order, 1964, made by the Admin-
istrator under section 3(1) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1950 (No. 9
of 1950).

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited
as the Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Needles) Order, 1964.
2. Declaration of Needles to be a
Pioneer Industry. The manufacture of Nee-
dles is hereby declared to be a pioneer industry for
the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1950, and the following product
Needles
is hereby declared to be a pioneer product for the
said purposes,
Made by the Administrator acting in accord-
ance with the advice of the Executive Council this
day of 1964.

Order, 1964, dated 1964,
made by the Administrator under section 8
(1) of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordi-
nance, 1950 (No. 9 of 1950).

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited
as the Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of
Spring-filled Foam-filled Sleep Products) Order,
1964.
2. Declaration of pioneer industry.
The manufacture of Spring-filled Foam-filled Sleep
Products is hereby declared to be a pioneer Indus-
try for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer
Industries Ordinance, 1950, and the following
products
Spring-filled Mattresses
Foam Mattresses
Foam Pillows
Foam Divans
are hereby declared to be pioneer products for the
said purposes.
Made by the Administration acting in accor-
dance with the advice of the Executive Council
this day of 1964.

City Rate for 1964
Notice is hereby given that the City
Rate Assessment List for 1964 has
been posted on the outer door of the
Treasury and at the Office of the Cen-
tral Board of Health, Market Street.

The rate fixed on properties North
of the Street which joins Benneti and
Bryson Streets under an assessed
annual rental value of $48.00 is 5%
of $48.00 and over 7J%. The rate on
all other property under an assessed
annual rental value of $48.00 is 10%
and of $48.00 and over 15%.

Any person who objects to any
assessment in the said list must lodge
his objection in writing with the
Secretary Central Board of Health
within fourteen days after the date of
this notice.

The Stamp (Shakespeare Commemoration) Orde ,
dated 21st April, 1964, made by the Administrator in
Council under Sections 4 and 5 of the Stamp Act,
(Cap. 135)

1. Citation. This Order may be cited as the stamp
(Shakespeare Commemoration) Order, 1964.
2. Interpretation. In this Order-
"(U.S. Currency)" means in the currency of the
United States of America.
3. Use of Stamps. The special stamps of the value
of 10,. (US) anti of the design specified in the Schedule hereto
are hereby authorised for use in the Colony.
4. Duration and Residues. The issue of stamps
hereby authorised shall remain on sale until the 22nd day of
July, 1961, or until stocks are exhausted whichever date is
earlier, after which this Order shall cease to be operative and
such stamps (if any) then remaining unsold shall be forthwith
destroyed.
5. Commencement. This Order shall come into
operation on the 23rd day of April, 1964.
Made by the Administrator in Council this 21st day of
April, 1964.

SCHEDULE.
The special stamp which will be of the value of 10c. (U.S.
Currency), will be printed in a cobalt blue colour and will in-
clude a portrait of Her Majesty and of William Shakespeare
together with the words WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE" and
the dates 1561-1964."
