Notice.


Consequent on the death of President JOHN F.
KENNEDY of the United States of America on Friday,
22nd November, Her Majesty the QUEEN has command-
ed Court Mourning for one week beginning Saturday
23rc1 November. Flags are to he hoisted at half mast on
the 23rd November and on the day of the Funeral.
On receiving confirmation of the death of the Presi-
dent, His Honour the Administrator issued the following
message at 3.30 p.m on Friday 22nd to Mr. JOHN GOULD,
the President of Mill Reef Club, Commander 0.
SMULLEN of U.S. Naval Facility and Captain R. BESLEY
of the Antigua Auxillary Air Force Base.
Please extend heartfelt sympathies, myself,
Government and people of Antigua to United States
Citizens your Club/your Base in tragic and shocking
death of the President. Your calamitous loss is very
much our loss also."
Appropriate messages have been sent to the American
Consul General in Barbados.
