Brownie,. Rt. John Amhnblnce Bri-

and the Church Lads Brigade. Police

An Ordinance to amend the Assessment of
Compensation (Land of Alvan Camacho)
Ordinance, 1962.

[29th June, 1962]

Be it enacted by the Queen'si Most Excellent
Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of
the Legislative Council of Antigua, and by the -
authority of the same as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Short title.
Assessment of Compensation (Land of Alvan
Camacho) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1963, and
shall be read as one with the Assessment of
Compensation (Land of Alvan Camacho) Ordinance, s/192.
1962, hereinafter called the principal Ordinance.


2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is
hereby amended by the deletion of the full-stop at
the end thereof and by the addition of the
following:-

ANTIGUA. 2 Assessment of Compensation (Land
of Alvan Camacho) (Amendment).


Retrospective
effect.


No. of 1963.


"and a Board of Assessment for the
purpose of assessing compensation in respect
of the compulsory acquisition of the lands
described in the said Schedule shall-

(a) be appointedd and constituted in
accordance with the terms of the
Land Acquisition Ordinance, 1958;
(b) have all the powers conferred upon a
Board of Assessment duly appointed
under the provisions of the Land
Acquisition Ordinance, 1958."
3. This Ordinance shall be deemed to have
had effect from the 29th day of June, 1962.
