PROCLAMATION DATED DECEMBER 29, 1962, APPOINTING A
SESSION FOR THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE COLONY.


BY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.
A PROCLAMATION.

Administrator.
WHEREAS it is provided by section 18 of the Virgin
Islands Constitution and Elections Ordinance, 1954, as amended,
that the sessions of the Legislative Council shall be held at such
times and places as the Administrator shall from time to time by
proclamation appoint:
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that a session of the
said Council should now be held:
NOW, THEREFORE, I do by this my proclamation
appoint that a session of the. Legislative Council of the Colony
shall be held and that the first meeting thereof shall commence
with a sitting of the said Council at the Council Chamber at
Road Town, Tortola, at 11 o'clock in the morning of 10th
January, 1963 for the despatch of public business.
AND the Members of the said Council and all other Her
Majesty's Officers and loving subjects in the Colony and all
those whom it may concern are hereby required to take due
notice hereof and to give their reairy obedience accordingly.
GIVEN at the Administrator's Ofice, at Tortola,
this day of December, 1962, and in
the eleventh year of Her Majesty's reign.

NANCE, 1961 (No. 29 OF 1961).


BY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.
A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section 11 of the National Parks Ordi-
nance, 1961 (No. 29 of 1961) it is provided that the said
Ordinance shall come into operation on a date to be appointed
by the Administrator by proclamation published in the Gazette:
NOW THEREFORE, I do by this my proclamation
declare that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the
1st day of January, 1963:
AND all Her Majesty's loving subjects in the Colony and
all others whom it may concern are hereby required to take
due notice hereof and give their ready obedience accordingly.
Given at the Administrator's Office, Road Town,
Tortola, this 29th day of December, 1962 and in
the eleventh year of Her Majesty's reign.
