Notice is hereby given that LIONEL
PAUL MARIE B1OULOS of Market

knows any reason why naturalization

later than 31st July each year. When
any tax or any part thereof remains
unpaid at the expiration of the abo-ve

moved from the Queen's Warehouse
within three months will be sold by
Public Auction at the Point Ware-
house on Thursday 31st May, 1962,
at 2.30 p.m.
Importers who have passed war-

The attention of the public is
invited to Section 5(2) of the Land
Tax Ordinance No. 1 of 1947 which
reads as follows:--
"Every person who at any
time comns into possession in his
own right, or in that of his wife,
or as attorney or agent or
guardian or committee of any
other person, of any land by
grant from the Crown, purchase,
inheritance, d e v i s o, lease or
agreement for lease, or otherwise,
shall, within one month next
after he so comes into possession

boundaries of the City of Saint John
is liable to an annual tax of two
shillings per acre or any part thereof.
Provided that no tax shall be
charged in respect of

(b) any portion of Land which is
less than one-half acre per area.

Act, 1962.


Notice to Persons wishing to enter the
United Kingdom on or after the
1st July, 1962.


In connection with the legislation
recently enacted in the United King-
dom to control the immigration of
Commonwealth citizens int o the


United Kingdom it is notified for
general information that copies of a
pamphlet giving general advice about
the control procedure u uder the
Commonwealth Immigrants Act can
be obtained from the Labour Depart-
ment, St. John's

2. This pamphlet explains that a
Commonwealth citizen to whom the
Aot applies will have to obtain an
employment voucher if he wishes to
enter the United Kingdom for em-
ployment on or after Ist July, 1962
and that any such citizen who wishes
to enter the United Kingdom for any
other purpose may, if he wishes, apply
for an entry certificate. Copies of
the application form for an employ-
ment voucher and of the application
form for an entry certificate oan be
obtained from the Labour Department,
St. John's.

3. If after reading the pamphlet
interested persons should want any
general advice, they should apply to
the Labour Department for such
advice.

TENDERS for SEA-TRANSPORT of
SUPPLIES and PASSENGERS ETC.
to SOMBRERO ISLAND.
Tenders are hereby invited from
persons interested in entering into an
Agreement with the Ministry of
Transport, St. Christopher House,
Southwark Street, in the County of
London, England, to supply sea-
transport for the purpose of carrying
supplies and passengers, and any other
cargo that might be required to be
carried, between the Islands of St.
Kitts. Anguilla and Sombrero in con-
nection with the operation of
Sombrero Lighthouse during the
period 1st July to 31st December,
1962.

2. 'The Contractor will he required
to undertake two voyages monthly,
one on or about the first day of each
month from St. Kitts to Anguilla
and then to Sombrero Island and
return to Anauilla and the second on

finds it necessary to return to Angunilla

Motor Vehicles
Tenders are invited for the compi -
hensive insurance coverage of alt
