STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS.
1960, No. 20.
PROCLAMATION DATED THE 30TH DAY OF MAY,
1960, DECLARING CERTAIN AREAS OF THE
COLONY TO BE PROHIBITED AREAS UNDER
AND BY VIRTUE OF ARTICLE 35 OF THE
COLONIAL AIR NAVIGATION ORDER, 1955,
(S. I. 1955, No. 711).

WHEREAS it is provided by Article 35 of
the Colonial Air Navigation Order, 1955, that the
Administrator may by proclamation declare any
specifically defined area in the Colony to be a
prohibited area and that except as may be provided
in the proclamation whereby the prohibited area is
established, or in any subsequent proclamation
issued by the Administrntor, no aircraft shall fly
over, or land in, any prohibited area:
NOW, THEREFORE, 1, IAN GRAHAM
TURBOTT, Administrator of the Colony of Antigua,
do by this my Proclamation declare that on
TUESDAY THE THIRTY-FIRST DAY OF
MAY, 1960, the arias of the Colony set out in
the Schedule hereto shall be prohibited areas and
that, accordingly, no aircraft shall land in the said
prohibited areas nor shall any aircraft fly over the
said prohibited areas below a height of 2,000 feet
above sea level.
AND all Her Majesty's loving subjects in the
said Colony and all others whom it may concern
are hereby required to take due notice hereof ind to
give their ready obedience accordingly.
GIVEN at the Administrator's Office,
Antigua, this 30th day of May,
1960, in the ninth year of Her

1. ALL THAT portion of the foreshore of the
Parish of Saint John and of the territorial waters of the
Colony adjacent thereto lying between Sandhaven and
2. ALL THAT portion of the Parish of Saint Paul
and of the territorial waters of the Colony adjacent
thereto lying to the East of an imaginary line extending
from Tucks Point at the western end of Rendezvous Bay
thence through Monks Hill to Bethesda.
