FROGS FROM THE TEARS OF THE
MOON SPRING
Dimas Bautista Iturrizaga

When I was a student, people and
teachers used to say to me "Those frogs
are born from moon tears, There are
lots of moon tears down in the water."
"Frog eggs are tiny black dots; from
there frogs are born", they used to say
to me.

Without our noticing they disappeared.
Then we saw tadpoles.

Once upon a time I had just a little can
and in that can I carried moon tears to
my home. Then I said to myself 'I
wonder if what they say about the frogs
coming out of there could be true." I put
water into that little can, then I put a little
dirt, and in four days little frogs were
born. And that was all.

I carried it to my cave in Killkilla. In my
cave in Killkilla I changed the water
again and again so they wouldn't stink.
Just like they had said the little tadpoles
came out and then after the frogs came
out.

This was the first work that I did. That
was my first scientific experiment.

SAPOS DE LAGRIMAS DE LA LUNA
SALEN
Dimas Bautista Iturrizaga

Cuando yo era estudiante la gente
juntamente con los maestros solian
decirme "Sapos nacen de esas lagrimas
de luna. Hartas lagrimas de luna habia
alli adentro del agua. Huevos de sapos
habian sido redondidos negros, de ahi
nacen sapos." solian decir.

Sin que nos dimos cuenta
desaparecian. Entonces ya vimos
renacuajos.

Una vez habia una latita mia; lagrimas
de luna Ileve a mi casa. Entonces me
dije entire mi "6Sera como dicen la
gente? 6Sera que asi de alli nacen
sapos?". En esa latita eche agua,
juntamente con un poco de tierra, y en
cuatro dias nacieron sapos. Asi no mas.

A mi cueva en Killkilla lo Ileve. En mi
cueva en Killkilla el agua no mas
cambiando una que otra vez para que
no apestara. Tal cual habian dicho los
renacuajitos salieron, y despues ya las
sapos salieron.

Ese era lo primero que hice. Ese fue mi
primer trabajo cientifico.
