pertment received an alarm. The fire
was Ip the root of Mr. R. Toe's
residence, where It had eatught In the
dry shingles In two places. 'the chem-
ical engine was used and the bo soon
had the fire out. Mr, Tge said lome

and the -sparks fell 'o the roof and
Ignited the shingles. Very little am-

the killing of the Are station mascot,
