SPECIAL COURSES FOR TEACHERS
SECOND SEMESTER 1954-55

The courses listed in this bulletin are those scheduled in late afternoon, even-
ing or Saturday morning, that are of special interest to school personnel.
Any person expecting to enroll for these courses, whether or not they have pre-
viously enrolled in the University of Florida, should file a preliminary application in
order that the registration materials may be prepared in advance and thus reduce to
a minimum delays in completing registration.
If the preliminary application is received prior to January 28, an appointment card
will be immediately sent that will permit registration on the morning of Saturday, Feb-
ruary 5. Completion of registration for one of these courses on that day (February 5)
can be effected for a registration fee of $20.00. Provisions will be made to accept re-
gistrations between 5 and 7:30 p.m., Monday and Thursday (February 5 and 10) and the
morning of Saturday (February 12) for a registration fee of $25.00. If after completion
of registration a student desires to change courses, this change may be effected
during the hours given above in the period February 7 and 10. No registration will
start after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning (February 5 or 12).
Registration fees for on-campus courses are not transferable for the payment of
fees for extension courses. No refunds of registration fees paid foron-campus courses
will be made because of transfer to an extension course. There are no refunds of
registration fees for persons withdrawing after 12:00 noon Monday, February 14.
Persons withdrawing prior to that time are eligible for a refund of all but $5.00 of
the registration fee.

signed on receipt of preliminary application. No
one permitted to start registration on Saturday,
February 5, after 10 a.m.
Feb. 7, Mon., 7:40 a.m.. . . . Classes begin. All registration fees increased
$5.00 for persons completing registration on or
after this date.
Feb. 12, Sat., 12 Noon . . ... Last time for completing registration for the
second semester. No one permitted to start
registration after 10 a.m. on this date.
Last time for adding courses and for changing
sections.
Feb. 14, Mon., 12 Noon . . ... Last time for submitting resignation for second
semester and receiving any refund of fees.
March 12, Sat., 12 Noon . . ... Last time for making application at the Office
of the Registrar for a degree to be conferred at
the end of the second semester.
March 22, Tues., 4 p.m .. ...... .Last time for dropping courses without re-
ceiving a grade of E.
April 7, Thurs., 5:30 p.m.. .... Spring recess begins.
April 12, Tues., 7:40 a.m. .. . Spring recess ends.
April 30, Sat. . . . . .. ... Last day for filing preliminary application for
1955 summer session.
May 13, Fri..... . .. . .. Last day for candidates for degrees to be con-
ferred at the end of the second semester to com-
plete correspondence courses.
May 16, Mon., 4 p.m .. .... .... .Last time for candidates for Master's and
Doctor's degrees to be conferred at the end of
second semester to file these with the Dean of
