SPECIAL COURSES FOR TEACHERS
SECOND SEMESTER 1953-54

The courses listed in this bulletin are those scheduled in late afternoon, evening
or Saturday morning, that are of special interest to school personnel.

Anyperson expecting to enroll for these courses, whether or not they have pre-
viously enrolled in the University of Florida, should file a preliminary appli-
cation in order that the registration materials may be prepared in advance and
thus reduce to a minimum delays in completing registration.

If the preliminary application is received prior to January 29, an appointment
card will be immediately sent that will permit registration on the morning of Sat-
urday, February 6. Completion of registration for one of these courses on that
day (February6) canbe effected for a registration fee of $20.00. Provisions will
be made to accept registrations between 5 and 7:30 P. M., Monday and Thurs-
day (February 8 and 11) and the morning of Saturday (February 13) for a registration
fee of $25.00. If after completion of registration a student desires to change
courses, this change may be effected during the hours given above in the period
February 8 and 11. No registration will start after 10:00 A. M. on Saturday
morning (February 6 or 13).

Registration fees for on-campus courses are not transferable for the payment of
fees for extension courses. No refunds of registration fees paid for on-campus
courses will be made because of transfer to an extension course. There are no
refunds of registration fees for persons withdrawing after 12:00 noon Monday,
February 15. Persons withdrawingprior to that time are eligible for a refund of
all but $5. 00 of the registration fee.
