Crestview is in West Florida, 55 miles northeast of Pensacola.
from Choctawhatchee Bay and 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

is provided by the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. Greyhound Bus Lines
and Coastal Stages provide bus service. Air service is not available.

There are two public tennis courts and one privately-owned swimming pool in
Crestview. There is a golf course about 10 miles from town and nice beaches
30 miles from town.
Quail, turkeys, dove, deer, squirrels and fox are found in this vicinity.
There are unposted hunting grounds in the immediate vicinity. No hunting
camps or hunting lodges are available.
Fresh water bream, trout, bass, perch, and catfish are caught in Yellow River
and Shoal River. Salt water bluefish, scamp, ling, bonita, amberjack, tarpon,
sailfish, shark, devilfish, ray, flounder, leather jack, channel bass, sea
bass, speckled trout, grouper, lady fish, and skip jack are caught in the
Choctawhatchce Bay and thd Gulf of Mexico. There are no fishing camps or
fishing guides. Fishing boats can be chartered at Niceville and Valparaiso.
Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, Assembly of God, and
Church of God denominations have services in Crestview.
