miles southeast of Tallahassee. It is near the Wacissa River.
Florida Highways 59 and 259 pass through Wacissa. Wacissa does not have
rail, bus or air transportation.

Facilities for boating, fishing and swimming are available at the Wacissa
Deer, turkeys, squirrels, dove and duck are found in the vicinity. There
are no hunting lodges or hunting guides here.
The Wacissa River offers good fresh water fishing. Walter C. Teate operates
a boat livery. There are no fishing guides or fishing camps here.
