Loughman is in Polk County, in the central section of Florida, 11 miles
southwest of Kissimmee and 10 miles northeast of Haines City. The
elevation is 110 feet.
U. S. Highways 17 and 92 pass through Loughman. The Atlantic Coast mine
railroad provides rail transportation. greyhound Lines provides bus service.
Air service is not available.
Polk County had a population of 112,429 in 1945. Loughman is an
rated town and population figures are not reported.

Davenport, Lake .ilson, Church-house Lake, Thomas Lake, Circle Lake, and
Round Lake. There are no fishing camps, fishing guides or charter fishing
