Proceedings of the Conference on Domestic Farming Systems
held at the University of Florida, September 10-13, 1984 will
be available early in 1985. This was the first farming systems
conference held in the United States on applying a systems
approach to domestic agricultural research and extension. The
conference focused on experiences gained by various U.S.
institutions. The proceedings include information about the
application of a farming systems approach to research and
extension, the development of courses and training material,
and can serve as a current reference of people and institutions
involved in U.S. farming systems research and extension

Conference participants who registered and paid the
conference registration fee will automatically receive a copy
of the proceedings. Others interested in obtaining the
proceedings may reserve copies at this time. The cost will be
approximately $10.00, based on a limited press run that is
being estimated at this time and including postage and
handling. As there will be a limited number printed it is
necessary to reserve copies in advance.

Send the following information to Dr. E.C. French,
Department of Agronomy, 304 Newell Hall, University of Florida,
Gainesville, FL 32611: your name, complete mailing address, and
the number of copies of the proceedings that you wish to have
