WHERE SHOULD I START?

Choosing a major or career is a unique
process, and it Is important to allow
enough time to Identify your interests and
skills and explore options that match
those attributes you have identified.

Try to start one year before graduation to
allow yourself enough time to build a
rdsumd, fine tune your Interview skills,
research companies, identify potential
geographic locations, and estimate costs
of living.

Consider an Internship or co-op to gain
work related experience that will make
you more marketable in your job search
and give you valuable Insight-about
working in your chosen field. .

It is important to think about how to
balance the semester in which you are
graduating and consider the time you w:fllt
need for interviewing and completing '
academic requirements.

For those with less lead time, ydu can
prioritize these steps to fit your particular
time frame.
